To be honest, I don’t care what school I go to as long as they teach me what I need to do, ya know train you. the school I’m going to now does not do that. Professor Leonard on the other hand, Break things down so nicely and explains where things come from instead of just throwing stuff on the board and saying just memorize it or that your an engineer just figure it out. First of all we’re not, we’re engineers in training who have no idea what we are doing; because if we did there would be no reason to pay or go to the class. Secondly education is the duty of the individual and should have the greatest hand in the learning process, but if the attitude towards the class or material is nonchalant students generally are t inspired enough to keep pursuing their education. Please for the love of humanity be more like professor Leonard.
Hi, does anyone know how I can do a 99% Confident interval for the example at 27:00 min mark ? Example for the intrepretation "There is enough statistical evidence to suggest that the mean weight for MnM's is NOT equal to .8535 grams. Also, based off a 95% confident interval, the population mean for MnM's is between the values x and y ?" Is x .0001 - .1530 and y .0001 + .1530 ? I got .1530 using the Margain of Error from lect 8.4 " critival value for alpha *( pop standard deviation/ square root of sample size n)
Hi, did Professor Leonard ever finished the course in perhaps his patreon? He talks about making videos on linearity and other topics I can't seem to find on his youtube....
Hi! I haven't finished Differential Equations yet, but I do plan to... Life has been extremely busy with more children and career changes and house building. However, I will put out more videos in the future :)
@@ProfessorLeonard Thank you! Praise the Lord you are doing great! I am so thankful for all your help. Truly you are the best profesor I've ever had. So thankful to God because now I can study without the huge anxiety of not understanding but rather truly enjoy and look forward to taking (binged watching self studying) the courses (I've done Cal 1,2, this one and will do Cal 3). PD I've seen that some people write the logistic equation as rN(1-N) or rN (1-N/L) how does it relate to kP(M-P)? Praying for the Lord Jesus, since His riches are infinite and His will perfect, to repay all the good and help you've given to all the thousands of students around the globe so we can succeed and achieve goals. God has given you such a special gift and you've used it so brilliantly! It's so inspiring to read the comments and see how far others have reached thanks to God and your help! Greetings from Spain!
@@ProfessorLeonard By the way could you please do one on Numerical Methods?!! I am trying to get into an engineering program and it will be of inmeasurable help!
0:33 intermediat alg comes after geometry, my teachers courses goes like this. (Arithmetic, pre algebra, and 1, geometry, alg 2, trig, pre calc, calc 1 2 3, DELA(differential equations and Lina algebra)
I was doing calculus last semester and the was always that one guy that had a loud laugh and laughed at everything prof said. I always expect to hear that laugh, like the videos are weird without it😂😂. Oh and I passed calculus very well so I'm back!!!
I find this important 1:00:11 convergence for a series means that ultimately, we add up terms that are 0, coming up with a sum that is not infinity (that is an actual finite number)
I’m trying to get into school for computer science and today I found out that one of the prerequisite classes is pre-calculus. As soon as I heard that I got scared, but now that I’m watching this lecture… 25 min in and I’m sure I can figure it out. Definitely subscribing and saving this play list.
