This mission is so weird. your units are not the same as they are in the wings of liberty campaign. seige tanks and reapers deal less damage than in wings of liberty. battlecruisers and hellions have less hp than in wings of liberty. some units get different abilities than in wings of liberty. Mercenaries and some other units are the same as in wings of liberty. You also get a weird mix of research and credit upgrades from wings of liberty. This achievement may seem difficult if you don't know about all this, but you can adjust your strategy using this information. vultures can remake spider mines. spider mines are very useful especially for zagara's base. the spectres in this mission seem the same as in wings of liberty and they get both credit upgrades. the enemy doesn't bring many detecters, so spectres can be very useful. The void thrashers can be killed by regular units. hel's angels are quite good for this. you may do this slowly if you put a medivac near kerrigan. you probably could complete this achievement with brutal difficulty if you used the good units.
in my version, Zagara dies about 7-10 minute. and the detection is also coming faster, so banshees strat was also failing. I wonder if it is possible to get an expo with this strat. also also, this is ridiculous how the difficulty spike from hard to brutal in this mission is
@@jeffreywarf I managed to do it on brutal today. Kerrigan 15 kills. HP 1536. Lot of saves, far away from smooth run. I managed it one base like in the video. You never have time to expo, and the expo gives you additional checkpoint to guard.
starting from the swarm campaign, the mastery achievements of this game become a source of incredible frustration (as well as physical and financial pain cuz i broke my wrist and keyboard while raging to this kind of stupid a$$ mission) to a point that i wanna personally harm the MF guys who ever came up with these disgusting stupid achievements ideas... f$cking game gave me more trauma and stress than anything else, i really regret buying this self torture "game", why should i stress days and weeks trying to do some impossible sh$t just to have a digital script sending me "achievement unlocked".... now i've lost all motivation and fun to this self torture, i just wanna burn the MF to the ground with blizzard, f$ck this sh$t. i also slapped myself in the face for buying my first and LAST blizzard game, or any RTS game EVER, i think. jesus i was consumed
This helped a lot dude, thanks heaps for taking the time to make a guide for it. Just knowing to help defend artanis alone instead of letting him kick off was huge, knowing not to bother so much with the western ramp helped big time and knowing about those hidden minerals that only the viking could get helped so much.
