This game is such a money sink back in the day as a kid, wish I’d known better and play Maximum Tune all the time instead, at least in Maximum Tune you can actually save your progress and cars
Is this being played on easy? Because I'm having way more difficulty staying under the time limit, and I don't think I drive worse than you. My difficulty is set to normal, and even in time trial mode, I always end up running out of time in the last lap, with the finish line in sight, or just around the corner.
You'd all be amazed at how hard this game actually was. Plus the gun con was huge, heavy, and difficult to turn if you played it at the arcade. No surprise that most arcades didn't really keep it around for long.
Super Model 3 is out for the Xbox Series S and X consoles. Dev mode must be active. For those wanting to change the language setting please follow the steps listed below. 1-Press both thumbsticks together to enter test mode. 2-When in test mode hold start and press the following on the xbox controller. B, B, Y, X, A, X, Y The country option will now be available. Click the left stick to select country and the right stick to select the different options. When finished click exit and get back into the game. Bear in mind that unless you are running the Japanese version of the game you are unable to switch between the two different "vocal" options. Japan has both "Mitsuyoshi" and "Dennis" available while all other regions do not have the option and vocals will always be "Dennis" I my opinion the better choice is Mitsuyoshi but both vocal options are great. 👍
You have to map the buttons "testmode", "test" and "service" to buttons on your controller and then press them in the order as described in the video notes above.
I wanna try games like this on my PC. I know MAME is a thing,can anyone give me pointers how to get the games running? I wanna play Ridge Racer 1 and 2,pure arcade originals. Even stuff like the Capcom fighting games would be awesome. I only have a GT1030(gddr5) but i have a Ryzen 5500 and 16gb DDR4 3600.
The games you mention run pretty good in MAME even on a potato pc. Just get the roms, put them in the rom folder of mame and you can start. For this game (Scud Race) and others based on Sega Supermodel 3 (Daytona USA 2, Segal Rally 2, etc.) you need the Supermodel 3 emulator.
@@ghoulflier1016 That's great info thank you. Is there plug-ins or something i should install? I'm familiar with Wii,and 16-bit and even Gamecube emulation,but it would be nice to get pointers rather than have to sift through mountains of info.
@@ghoulflier1016 Oh man playing Sega Rally 2 flawless would be amazing. I caned that game on Dreamcast but even i could see the fps dips and other cutbacks.

I was looking for this game for so long! I remember going to the mall, to play with friends and other random people at the arcade center with eight machines connected! It was awesome! Good times!
For MAME (slow and buggy and the cheats don't work; mind you the game is so slow you might as well be cheating) use the default 9+8+7 and release 7 and scroll to country and change to USA.
