Hi Alex, We need a Parameter inside Revit to take data into the Revit elements. Adding a column does not do anything to Revit model while importing back to Revit using Sheetlink. This new column or any unnecessary data will simply be ignored by the Addin. If you need to add data, please create a Parameter inside Revit and assign it to the Required Category, so that the data can be stored in that Parameter. This empty Parameter can be exported to Excel and data can be filled for the same. Hope this helps.

Hello, Is it possible to go further and select for example all the blocks which contain a particular attribute? Because for the moment it only works with all the blocks by layer and not by block name?

how did you display ducts as a full models and the rest as wireframe? I cant get that level of clarity. I understand that I can just open HVAC design > 3D but im just curious how to make a standard model to a model thats only displays HVAC fully and the rest is pure wireframe. Cheers
It is not possible. You need to recreate a new one, transfer the values from the old one (e.g., with SheetLink), and then delete the old one. docs.dirootsone.diroots.com/

Why cant we just use reference level? Whats the point of doubling the same information? + why do we choose to use Area, Length, Level, Size, and not Width for example? Is it just an example or does it have a deeper cause? Cheers

That's fantastic, it would be nice if it had a choice, to select if you want the colours to be as graphic overrides or create filters, the downside with graphic overrides is that if you create or copy a beam then it doesn't pick up the colour, you need to always run the tool again and again and again and again and again and again and again... But a filter picks up the colour without having to run the tool all the time.
Finding one error while writing the code into the dynamo code block - Says "NurbsCurve must have atlease one more control point than degree" as i selected "points n degree" both. I have exactly written the code as you have suggested but how can i solve this problem?
I have exported multiple schedules to google drive successfully but it won't let me create a cell containing the sum of the costs of all rows in a column. Something I am used to doing in excel. Can we add data to these sheets? I was planning to add the sums of multiple schedules into one master sum. Is there a good way to do this?
