So, we brag on the portability of this scabbard, but did not demonstrate it's portability. Put it on your back...let's see how functional it really is.
The number one question with this type product is fitment. I don't think enough information is provided with these products in that regard which is why I and those like me who shop online....stay away I'm sure.
First, let me say that I have several products from Yukon Outfitters/Yukon Tactical. As far as materials, constructions, finish, etc. they are up to par or exceed the products from their competitors. If you wan to save you some dough, Woot.com offers some of their products at a discount from time to time.Now, to my review of this scabbard and its purpose. If you are going to purchase this scabbard to carry your AR15 or similar with nothing but iron sights, you won't find a better scabbard. Plenty on MOLLE straps to attach anything you want. My only gripe is that once a scope or micro dot with riser was installed on the rifle, the fitment was less than optimal. The rifle would cant at a sharp angle inside the scabbard. This could be fixed to some degree by undoing the stitching on the bottom of the scabbard so the rifle fits further inside.Since my plans changed. I decided to just exchange it for their Ultimate Breakdown Case.As always, their customer service was top notch.
Just got a black one......all handles and velcro are sewn crooked. Made in China. If Glock .45 mags don't fit I won't be happy. Do have two 1911's I could put in here. Worth the $10 I paid plus shipping? We'll see. Don't like leaving negative reviews but if I paid $40 I'd be really pissed.

I would like to know that too. I have a Mossy 500 with an 8-shell tube, but I'm putting an ATI side-folding stalk on it. Not sure I need a light on a pump-action shotgun.
Today I received my Scoped Rifle Scabbard by Yukon Tactical. When I first held it in my hands and felt the material I knew this was a high quality item. I own two other scabbards from other Mfgs and this one is far superior. IMO
