I'm an adult, and I have been for decades now. I heard about this show from Garron. He really loved it, so I thought I'd take a look. I was afraid I might be too old for it, but turns out, you're never too big to do anything you want. And I love it, too 😊
I cant remember much of the show. What i remember is that it was on every summer on Saturday afternoons on RTE TV. It went over my head at time, and wasn't very popular with boys of my age who would have been around 8 or.10. One of my neighbour-hood friends he had an older sister who was about 11 or 12. I remember that she used to watch it with the girls of her own age. I seemed to be popular with them. So ive always thought that the Remini Roddle was more for girls than boys. Seeing this new clip reinforces this idea in my head.
Glad to have another piece of this show available it had only been a few months that I have heard of it and i've seen every clip or summary of what happens that currently exists. The plot seems very intriguing I am hoping some day the whole show would be found would love to watch it all the way through.
I am dying for the full thing! The Adult puppets are so scary but the Childrens puppets are so endearing especially Rory. I love the way the "animate" him.
We need to get more of this series found. I’ve spent years trying to contact the creators and RTE about distribution, but they aren’t happy about paying streaming rights. It seems more people are interested in the show now than ever before. Since this video is doing well, I’d highly encourage you all to do some digging, contact RTE and the creators in whatever way you can, and just make your voices heard. honestly, why hasnt anyone reached out to the broadcaster about an official release? i doubt any of this series is straight up missing, just unavailable due to the studio forgetting about it
People have but rte don’t want to. I have heard some say it is caught in rights hell or it is just not worth it to them to convert it from analogue to digital. Rte has very bad archiving. Most of its media gets lost to time pretty fast
I barely remembered this show until today. never thought it'd see them all again. <3 thank you for archiving and post these shows. :) i almost thought they'd be lost media by now.
