Meh….i mean the movie looks sick…but the whole idea of trilogy was that they grew up as best friends in the same “town”…this feels a bit forced…but still looking forward to the movie…just shoulda called it something else
From everything I've heard and read, it's just as rock solid without the RTK and the RTK has shown not to be that reliable when doing repeatable routes versus without the RTK.
I found 12:23 to be the most useful part because he's right, the ProRes Raw footage does look like overexposed unsalvageable garbage until you can somehow bring the footage back to life with Resolve but the hard part is DJI has made it a mission for any inspire owner to learn how to make their footage look good without any useful tutorials out there or advice on proper color workflow with FCP or Resolve when editing ProRes Raw. You're basically in the dark on this one trying to figure out this drone for months
First of all, the costumer should have been fired. Most of the clothes what these people wear are not authentic to the era, more like high school play or Halloween costumes. The prop beer bottle and doorknobs weren't era, to name but a couple of distractions out of the dozens in just a few moments of screen time. Enough with the overly lit back lighting... the filmmakers spent way too much time, money and energy on way too many characters and locations and cliches and didn't focus on the small details which ruined the entire film. Less would have been more. Study Leone. With all the pointless, distracting, cheap voice-overs, I kept expecting to hear, "Beef...It's what's for dinner...." D -
I rarely sit and watch these types of videos on YT all the way through. But, this was worth every second. Loved the storytelling through the direction and composition and writing. I could see this as a proof of concept for something major in film today. Shoutout to you Johnny mass and the entire crew of talent. Love the Sony Venice look (I’m a Sony guy till I perish lol) and the experience emotionally you gave me.
