I have a 2009 F-150, first platinum editon and hope this remote works for my model year. For some reason this platinum edition seems to be different with theough many forums. I just ordered one! But I selected the one key one because I only have one key. And it says flash link included and I’m not sure what that is.

The FIRST thing you do is disable the airbag. Either pull the fuse or disconnect the battery cable

Do u cut the yellow airbag wire it won’t come tf off

I saw this video and bought the system for my 2010 Ford Platinum. It installed just as this video walked through, no issues. I also wanted to be able to remote start from my phone so I bought the MyCar addition. The adapter you put as the link is not the same one you have. Can you please post a link of the exact adapter you have? I installed the one you linked and it's too short. Don't have clearance from the turn signal.
