It is not diabetic friendly as it has Polyol i.e Sugar alcohol Maltitol in it. It is a carbohydrate that still has a good amount of glycemic index. Also this Polyol has the capacity to cause loose motions as it has laxative effect. This laxative caution is printed on the Amul Chocolate box itself. So better be careful if you are diabetic.
Dude that’s why I get loose motion if I have a whole packet some day. Do you know any other effect it may cause, I am non diabetic, I am 30M, currently in a weight loss diet, I have cut down carbs totally almost, only living on chicken salad, fish ( Both of them are in very high quantity ). I take carbs for a single meal in a week mostly.
If u like plain dark chocolate...then this one is for u.....the sugar content in it is less than the regular dark chocolate....if u like dry fruit in chocolate then u can take that one
Just found you from your Butler''s chocolates review. I love how strict you are about the quality of chocolate business use. It's really so helpful as I don't eat sweet treats ever but I want to know what is good so I can buy them as birthday/christmas gifts. Thanks so much. Happy Christmas
