I love prison in Legacy. Unfortunately, in timeless, we don't have the cards that make this deck great: Trinisphere, Ancient Tomb, City of Traitors, Chrome Mox, Simian Spirit Guide, etc. Without the 2 colorless lands that don't need imprinting or Spirit Guide, it's just not fast enough.
Starting at 2:34, there were a lot of misplays. Oko could’ve traded the food for the Frog. Then, Drown in the Loch doesn’t kill the Frog if it exiles the 3 cards in the graveyard to give it flying while Drown is on the stack.
List doesn't seem bad! I definitely think 4 innkeeper's talent is becoming a must, the same with hunter's talent if you're running up against a lot of aggro/midrange. Good luck!
Solid Question, at that point in the game he had a full grip of cards with counterspell backup surely at the ready. If it was a tournament I would have for sure played it out, but for this I had much less than a 1% to win the game.
Solid content man, I'm not sure how youll be able to implement this, but I think your comentary was a little quiet, so if you could be a little louder or increase the microphone sensitivity, that would make it easier to hear. Either way, keep pushing bro, I'm sure you can get far if you stay consistent with content!
also @ 4:40 I think you're always supposed to grab bojuka bog here, it lowers their power on board by 6, preventing the drc flip and turning the goyf into a 0/1
Grief and Thoughtsieze has killed my will to play Timeless and I honestly gave up on magic overall but it is fun to watch others go through it like I was . Good games!
If you like Treasure Cruise, you should try Jace, Perfected Mind. Card is nutty for mill. my list differs from this quite a bit. I use Drowned Secrets as the mill engine and forego tasha's so we can play hard control with the likes of Drown in the Loch, Counterspell, Mana Drain and Brainstorm. Crab, Trap, and Glimpse are the only necessary Mill cards to get through a given game. Jace just refills our hand so effectively that going without is almost a non-bo at this point.
@BigChinGaming Tasha's is the cut for Jace, for sure. It's a clunky liability in a format where Show and Tell is the predominant strategy. Also why i'm on harder control. So I can answer Show and Tell effectively without having to be conservative with the game plan. Drowned Secrets just churns out the cards on its own when all the other cards in the deck are blue. Surgical is a 50/50 for me. Cus knowing the format well enough gets rewarded with the card. But it doesn't trigger Drowned Secrets and it's honestly not great in every match-up. I tried even cutting crabs for surgicals to be creatureless and blank opponents main deck removals. It felt worse than having Crab. Maybe Surgical is fine but I'm not crazy about it as a 4-of. You get to eat up Show and Tell and maybe some Dark Rituals? Eh. I like Drowned Secrets' synergy better.
As poorly as you played in G1, your opponent somehow played worse. Imagine conceding to mill with a card that says "YOU SKIP YOUR DRAW STEP" on the battlefield.
You asked for some additions and I'll throw you mine! I found that side boarding mills like Tasha's Hideous Laughter to mainboard Snapcaster Mage and Mission Briefing. To force searches a bit more often you could sneak in a few Scheming Symmetry and Wishclaw Tailsman. I run 2 and 3 of each respectively. Generally I run this in Sultai so my brew is a bit different. But if Pillage the Bog didn't exist I'd be on Dimir still. Hope these help some, but ggs~ (:
I feel like that first opponent wasn't nearly greedy enough with their necropotence, only ever drawing with it to hand size is not how you play the card lol
I've received other comments about this, I can definitely at the very least put the deck lists in the comments / description, and aetherhub in the future.

Are you not playing forest and snow-forest? Seems like that'd help a lot with the blood moons being able to fetch two basics without reducing names. That woulda let you keep NO in the game against the sneak list too. Edit: OH you do that. Just didn't fetch 2 basics facing the moon? I'm not sure I like that. I mean your odds against moon game 1 are bad anyway but seems like you'd want your basics out there.
For sure, moon game 1 is almost unbeatable, but archdruid's charm and boseiju (typically through tutoring with sylvan scrying) are answers. Thanks for watching!
@@BigChinGaming I wonder if that's the argument for just one caroo land. If you have either a basic or boseiju on the board you can titan for the other and a caroo to return the boseiju to channel. Of course you still have to do it before the moon even resolves so I'm not sure this is enough reason to change the lands. Also don't know how tight that is to squeeze. Might be too cute for just that case and it's not like killing one moon means you're out of the woods either
@@NovaCyn Yeah, list is definitely tight. I've tinkered with the idea of running explore over scrying as well in grind matchups to draw to answers and action more.
@@BigChinGaming yeah then it's probably not worth worrying about that. But definitely fetching basics is worthwhile when everything else is about to be a dumb mountain xD
Not even a single scry land feels wrong. The times its gonna prevent you from doing the turn 2 oko vs the help it provides with end of turn do nothing turns where you fetch with open mana.. Rest of the list looks good.
Solid question - Fable is great but bowmasters already hinders our ring procs. Also, there's not many great kiki targets outside of bow, the token or shaman. Thanks for watching!
