I'm a tech enthusiast and love to travel. I'm lucky enough to be able to get a lot of tech toys (too many, I've been told) and travel a lot for work (and some for pleasure), and I want to share a lot of the experiences, give my honest thoughts/opinions, and help answer questions people have. My videos are aimed to be more "raw" and straight to the point.
For my subscribers, THANK YOU! Please feel free to let me know your thoughts and what tech products you would like to see. If there are enough interests, I will try my best to create videos for them.
Curious - did you simply submit a ticket thru the Tesla app citing a peeling steering wheel or did you use other specific language to get them to replace the steering wheel with the new version?
We are staying at the Marriott Surawongse this New Year's Eve. Was that video taken from your room, from one of the hotel restaurants or the M Club Lounge?
The reason the counter height is only 15" is because you have a light box under the cabinet. Standard is 18" from counter to the bottom of the cabinet. The Dreco was designed to fit under all cabinets.
I got a different model and it dies out within seconds of charges after a couple months of use, so does this still work today if you still have it, does it last long?
Yeah, mine still works today and lasts for a while (I haven't timed it from fully charge to empty, but I have not noticed a significant degrade in the battery)
-WAY too many steps & WAY too much time to cook vs. a regular air fryer! -This was a Kickstarter campaign, and they pushed it REAL HARD w RU-vid influencers (this guy included) to promote it. -Machine is very suspect. -Let’s see how it holds up after a few months. -Quality is already suspect w reports of faulty probe. -If probe doesn’t work, u really can’t use the features of the machine.
The time depends on the options you choose. Through the regular air fryer mode, it's the same time as everything else. People seem to worship air fryers and fail to recognize that they're literally convection toaster ovens with a new name for marketing.
I hope you have a Dreo and share a “Chef” recipe because it’s not just an air fryer, thus the price difference. If you can get crispy skin on a traditional air fryer with less steps, please send the video, so we can all try it.
First of, I purchased this myself with my own money there was no deal whatsoever with Dreo. I'm just a regular customer to them and they had no idea I was doing a video... I've had it for more than 6 months now and it's been great. I haven't had any quality issues. You also don't have to use the other modes, the Classic Air Fryer mode is as easy to use as other air fryers I have.
The Gaming Sayl in my country has the Medley fabric instead of the Sync fabric, is it still worth getting over the regular Sayl? The regular Sayl uses the Cosmos fabric. The price difference between the two is about 37usd. Both don't come with the adjustable lumbar support.
nice vid, but what are the settings for the dose? how did u got 16g??, I fixed the screw on its lowest point, even tried different basket (14g) but never got lower than 18g. and for the froth settings, what is the froth level on the vid? bc on the comments u said 3 and then u said 7 :)
This is a nice piece of advice. Unfortunately the latest iOS 17 does not have the option of “turning hotspot on” in automation. It only has the option to set a new password for hotspot. Too bad! If anyone knows a trick for iOS 17, I would love to hear it.
It still does. But it’s confusing… it took me a couple tries to figure out. You need to go and click the grey plus button to add a new action under the settings inside the automation and then it shows the turn hotspot on as an action. For some reason you can’t find it in the first screen. I found the UI really confusing but it works now 😊
I just had my 2023 MSP's round steering wheel replaced under warranty with this new version, my wheel wasn't peeling though, the trouble I had was that the left turn signal stopped working intermittently 😉😉. As you said, the horn should have always been in the center, why Tesla decided to make it a button we'll never know, definitely a safety issue. Get yours now!
Hey, I have a 2023 round steering wheel for my model s and I opened a ticket on the app to have it replaced to the yoke. But I just got an invoice from Tesla support saying it's going to cost me $2300. How can I get it replaced under warranty?
@@tyro64 Thats because you attempting to convert your round wheel to a yoke, unfortunately that's not covered under warranty but you can upgrade your current '23's round wheel to the '24's round wheel w\mechanical center horn. I opened a ticket stating that my left blinker on my round wheel was not functioning, I asked for home service in the app, the tech swapped out the wheel & airbag assy under warranty.
@@stephen2220 ahh i see, this makes sense. I wonder if my steering wheel is peeling, the round wheel is have, and if they would swap it for the yoke under warranty? Thanks btw for the response!
@@tyro64 Well if you state in the app that your wheel is peeling, Tesla will ask you to submit a photo! and if in fact your wheel is not peeling Tesla most likely will deny your request. BUT, if you state that one of your blinkers is not working properly you can't possibly provide a photo for that and they will approve your request for a service tech.
@@stephen2220 gotcha! Thanks for the tip, I’ll try calling the service center and state the same about the blinker, i appreciate the tip! I wonder though, if they will change the round wheel to the yoke, as i would like to try the yoke.. hmm lol
Hello, Great video ! Where is the best area to watch the fireworks in Iconsiam ? ...in a restaurant, bar, street or in a Cruise River ? Thank you so much for your assistance.
@@antoniomorais1503 I’ve never done the River Cruise for the fireworks but I’d imagine it’d be amazing as it’s usually pretty up close and right there in the river. I did a NYE dinner at the Chinese restaurant on top of the Chatrium Riverside one year and watching the fireworks from there was pretty awesome. I usually avoid going to Icon Siam during fireworks due to overcrowding.
18 minutes at 380 degrees on air fry setting. Use lower air fry rack with no water…. Perfect! Three minutes before done brush on some bbq sauce…. Heaven!
Wow! We just bought a Dreo ChefMaker, and were hoping to find some good recipes on RU-vid... this video of yours was spot-on! Thank You, Great job. The part right when it was done and you showed the finished product looked like it came out of a fancy food magazine. The sound of the knife scraping to show the crispiness was a nice touch! Okay, going to go take some chicken thighs out of the freezer to thaw now! Keep the great content coming!
You just saved me money. I was going to get a iPad tripod but now I don’t have to because it looks like the magic keyboard will hold it up at a 90 degree angle🎉
@@ayyfergy Nope. My car is 2021 and did not come with it. I used it in a loaner for a little while and actually like it in the center better anyway so it doesn't really make a difference for me.
the horn-bag slips up when pressing it, is that the actual mechanism? does it work if you just press it or you have to push upward? doesn't look very solid, but it's a tesla what else can I expect
It works when just pressing it normally. It honestly feels very solid and just like my other cars. I think they did a great job on the build quality of the new yoke, by tesla's standard lol
We are thinking of trading up from a 2022 MYP to an LR X and at this price point the FRUNK should be POWERED and a rear armrest like the S. Does PPF or a WRAP affect the FWD or door sensors?
I'm not sure as the car I had didn't have PPF or wrapped. I'd ask a Model X owners facebook group. Keep in mind, however, I don't believe the 2024+ Model X have front door sensors anymore, I could be wrong.
I bought one of these last year and it is still in the box. lol I'm selling my house and land and moving, so I wanted to wait until I get to my new place to use this.
I was lucky enough to land one of these during the kickstarter campaign for $199 so I've been happy with my investment. I just wanted to let you know that you're not doing steaks properly. Unless you truly like your steak rare like you had it then that's fine but I don't think that's the result you were hoping for. First, that probe needed to be inserted far deeper than you had it. Certainly some pieces of meat are small enough that only inserting halfway makes sense but on a large steak like that the probe should have been as close as you could get to the center. As for the sear, I'm strictly in the real butter camp but oil should work fine as well. When it comes to searing I find it's a mixed bag with it sometimes coming out perfect and others really lacking. The Taste and internal cook is always on point though. I hope you'll continue to do recipes on here and experiment. There aren't many focusing on the ChefMaker here on RU-vid.
Hi there, thank you for the comment and the tips! You’re right, since I made the video, I’ve been plying with a few different things and inserting the probe deeper helps. Lately, I’ve been using the medium rare setting but add additional searing time at the end and it comes out perfectly.
I actually supported this during their Kickstarter and loved it. I'm always looking for recipes that aren't in the app so if you have ideas by all means post videos. Hope to see them and I'm sure I'm not the only one who searches for new ones. great video, thanks
Hey, I bought this chair and became it yesterday. I used it now for 8 hours and I have a kind of pain, numbless and tinging in the legs now (upper thigh, in the knee region). Did you have that to? does it go away? is it maybe a kind of acclimatisation to this chair? Perhaps I'm sitting too straight and it would be better if I could sit at a 5% angle, which is unfortunately not possible to configure. So, maybe I need to buy a special seat cushion with a tilt angle. Would appreciate your help, if you or other guys have this issue. Cheers from Europe, Switzerland
