Channel for Adult Doll Collectors - You're never too old for Dolls
I'm an adult whose loved, collected, made and repaired dolls for my whole life. On this channel I will be sharing my extensive doll collection and take you along for unboxing videos! I have ordered so many MSD and modern collectible dolls, there will be a veritable parade of doll unboxings. I am excited to take my pre-existing skills and apply them to customizing (some) of the dolls I buy. In particular I plan to give the bodies shading and blushing - add body paint to the dolls I've ordered.
Playing with dolls will include unboxing videos, doll repair videos, dolly dress ups and whatever fun the community might come up with - I'd like to play too!

You can get it from Walmart when you are in the US, or Amazon just in case. I live in the Malta, which is the country that stands in the EU, because probably Walmart is in the US, so my mum ordered this doll on Amazon yesterday since they came out on that site, and it will be coming in any day of September. I hav sooo many dolls that i am running out of room for new ones. It really bothers me to think about having to start storing some less admired ones away(for your qustion, a stand) it is just sad to me, so ive been really picky at who i will buy and who i cannot because of space. I do like this girl, but wld need to see the others in person as well before making a decision, your channel is a fun one , first time to comment. Thanku for showing us🙋♀️💜💜
I totally get it! I've run out of room as well. A few tubs of dolls not on display right now - though I have plans to set up a display in the garage to get more out of the tubs. Thanks for the feedback on my channel! I'm really having fun with the videos and projects for the channel! This doll is so cute in person - really though they dont ever sell out right? I probably should have waited for her to be on sale too, since I don't have anywhere to put her. She went right into storage with Kitty K! I rotate the OMG dolls that are on display - but still!
Thanks so much! I was surprised how much cuter she is in person! I wasn't expecting her to be so cute! I wish we could get both stand and articulation - but without spending more money or using bad hair. Maybe no black light and then put the stand back in!
I liked your review of Sunny and Viola or Violet (I can't remember her name). Too bad you pulled out and broke the more articulated neck peg. I don't really angle pose wrists and ankles to worry about any rebodies of these. What I did like going to a toy store section to see the head redesigns up close and I liked Skylar and Bella the most if I can keep their hair unchanged taking them out of the packages. Skylar looks cozy snug in winter cold as if she were bundled in a sleeping bag design. The mermaid bottom half is interesting for a winter snow theme because it resembles more her coming out of a sleeping bag during a cold winter in a tent. Bella is interesting also by the redness or rouge applied to a triangulated area above the nose and between her widely gapped little girl looks eyes. With the white dotted speckling of hint of snow under her eyes makes this enough a face mold to not resist buying. Skylar's cute jacket top in pearl blue and Bella's pink jacket top are the clothing selling points in their outfits. With other Rainbow High dolls or, as someone shows works, LOL OMG doll line clothing accessories, the gimmick bottoms can be replaced with Sunny's-like snow pants trousers I think is better looking that skiers dress up as in snow skiing athletics. Sunny and Violet you thankfully showcase more in this video will make me want to buy them more. 👍

I want them all and my favorite is Rory blueberry and then Callie birthday cake and then bubble gum and then maya and then piper and last is grape and yes I did watch the show it is cute

that’s a good point! I wonder if that’s why they recommended distilled water. I should’ve pointed out that I boiled the water first and then was waiting for it to cool. I won’t add water to any of the other doll dresses that’s for sure
I love that these dolls fit SH/RH clothes! I literally got Renee because she really reminds me of Veronica Storm from Shadow High, who is my favorite doll of all time, and I just ended up putting her in an extra Veronica outfit that I had with her original purple shirt and she honestly looks amazing in it somehow.🖤💜

I stand for Rosetta! I might also rebraid her once I got her as we totally understand how Factory Styles were. They would just style the hair regardless if there are loose hairs around. And I kinda get irrirtated on tangled areas. There are times when I'm in the mood, I would straighten and smoothen those areas. Most of the time, I would just go berserk and pull my detangler as much as I can! Lol, anyways. I might ask a friend who knows how to do Dutch Braids for rebraiding her hair. Tanks for sharing.
If you leave the candies out at least over night, the texture improves greatly. 2-3 days will have it really chewy! I picked up one more and got my second favorite the Waitress with the Burger and Fries stand!! So cute! Each new one I get increases my chances of a double though...
The doll comes with instructions for the gimmicks, e.g. it tells you how much water goes into the upper and the lower skirt piece to avoid overfilling (the syringe has a scale).
You didn't ruin it, MGA ruined it by creating this monstrosity. My almost 4 year old loves collecting RH with me, and she just walked past these, and they were positioned to her height on the selves. 😅 she really does love the little ones, though.

@AmyPlayswithdolls same! I already bought 3 of them for her birthday this August so it took some convincing to not buy them at the store 😅 but now I can but the other ones in the store with her after her birthday 🥰💖
I like the doll itself. The skirt is too gimmicky and definitely an eye sore once activated. It would've been nice if MGA had dressed the doll in a skirt and tights or pants underneath so that you could remove the big skirt and still have a full fashion. The snowman craft would be okay if it held together better. Do "damaged" doll returns get destroyed? I've heard that happens with returns sometimes, hopefully not in this case. The doll was technically fine and I'm sure there's a kid or someone who'd love to have it despite the skirt.

Their first winter line was SO good! "Winter" fashion dolls NEVER have clothing you'd actually wear in winter! The Winter Break Rainbow High dolls were actually wearing winter clothing! They should have left it there. This line is typically what toy companies release as "winter" dolls. This line absolutely needed a second outfit aside from the gimmick articles of clothing.
you’re so right! I love the first winter line! I’ve got them all I think. some of them are skiing on the roof of the RH dollhouse. I liked the old ones had shoes and then skis or snow board and the extra outfit 🤩🎉

@@AmyPlayswithdolls I know right getting them is so addicting once you unbox one you want more, Here is the list of their capsule color Posh light pink, Sprinkles lavander, Small fry Orange, Bonbon Light purple, Curios QT blue, I don’t know her name but she has a fruit hat her color is dark pink!!
So true why did they have to pick pumpkin orange and murky blue for the dress? A hot pink and baby pink would have been so much cuter . This concept sucks and the skirt is mildly ugly but the orange and murky blue just make everything worse
I couldn’t agree more! another viewer suggested they should have had second set of bottoms included. They coat too much I think for loss of articulation, loss of second outfit and then the gimmick wasn’t good either. she does look cute in other outfits - but still too much money for what she is. thanks for commenting 🤩
yeah, i dont understand why they chose to go with such outlandish colours compared to the rest of the outfit, most of them (exculding violets terrible skirt) have outfits that look really nice if not entirely suited to winter but then the strange coloured sand just ruins it. :(

Oh my, what were the RH creators thinking! I have a first series “color create” RH with platinum hair and left her as original. I like the one all white/silver look in the collection. If I see how pretty this Bella is in store I might pick her up to redress. Your jeans idea is a great one. But this gimmick? Ah no, not for me or my grandkids. Thank you for sharing!

woops! I accidentally answered from my other account. I agree! I’d hate to steal clothes from another doll. I wish I picked up a second one when Target was having a big sale. people sell the skirt on EBay but it’s $13 - might as well get a second doll for that much
Hi Amy, From this video I think Rosetta would be my favorite. Great to see new accessories from Rainbow High! She is cute but the legs really annoy me so I most likely will pass on adding these to my collection unless I find another body match.
Thanks for weighing in! I totally get it about the legs! I re-bodied 3 of my swim dolls so they would sit in the hot tub and then have plans to re-body the new Winter Wonderland Bella- I think. I have an extra Bella doll but i don’t think she has a socket head…

Malibu is so pretty! I found Brooklyn and Rene yesterday at Target. I’ve ordered Malibu online too! I’m so glad to get them and my family if tired of hearing about them 😂
I mainly collect or purchase Barbie. I own 6 mga dolls 4 RH AND 2 glitter tail winter Mermaize, but I am for sure buying 2 of the 4 with the glitter legs, Clementine for sure. I think these dolls are just so pretty!!!! Thanks for the wonderful review!
