Airfilterbox and the assebly to that is another 1-2kg.. swap it with a cold air intake, use motocross airfilter spray. Works like a sharm in the dunes. I have a 690 smc woth evo 2 inc cam. And that kit also dramaticly reduce weight. And gives a seriuos bump in power. Went from 58.3bhp to the wheel and now i have 70.4bhp at the wheel. And when the bike is this light u can really feel it. It awakens 😂😂 Im gonna do ur mods right now 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
I try to add comment, and link to product.. but it wont 🤣 Try google "ktm 690 smc / enduro evo 2 kit. It should be akrapovic, airfilter, cam, battery box (moses to front for better weight handling) then u add custom map
Make sure to sent ur bike to a good tuner. Put race tune on original switch. (Sport mode) keep rest of map setting stock. And also make sure ur guy makes a dyno map that he finish on the road. My bike runs better than stock.. but mapping with only dyno, usaly gives this wierd effects, when hot, moist or so forth :) So a well rounded tune from a good tuner that takes his time, u Will get a good bump from about 55-60bhp wheel to 70-73bhp wheel. Some countries have higher octane in fuel, so sone different resaults. I got 70.4bhp wheel, and my tuner said he could go a little further... but he wanted drivebility and quality to maintain good or better. And he nailed it. The bike is another bike. Super smooth and pull harder inn all the rpm range. But my guy said, make sure someone who knows the ls4 engine do it. Many bad mapping resaults out there... bike jerking, blowing up (to lean) so forth. But the engine loves to get pushed, u just need the right tune. Omg i just gave u a really long anwser.. but youtube removed it? ...
@@TrygveJohannSørensen Thank you! no matter where I look it seems like its sold out everywhere... could you just name the company site name (without link)? Thanks Pedro
Aconselho te a contactar a Ducati e pedir feedback. Se tiveres mais informacoes publica aqui o resultado. Boa sorte e stay safe.
I prefer to control the turning off myself as I rely only on the automatic turnoff in case I forgot. Again the quickshift Is great for upshifts but on downshifts I prefer 1000 times more my revmatchings :)) Im old school rider so letting everything automatic makes me loose the joy of riding and control the motorcycle. Preferences...

Hi! it was actually surprisingly comfortable! we were keeping max speeds of 135 km/h on highways and short stops to stretch our legs every hour/hour and a half... I'm a tall guy (185 cm) and didn't got bothered by turbulence (unless very windy situations) the ear plugs help a lot.
I got 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak. I experienced similar issue during fast acceleration with nearly empty fuel tank. It happened a couple times so far at speeds 80 mph in town. I haven't try in highway yet. The only change is from Pirelli Scorpions went to Dunlop Roadsmart IV with 50 miles on it-not broken in yet. I will try it again cause I am curious.
Very nice. At some point I would suggest upgrading that foot brake pedal and toe piece. The brake arm is soft as butter. Both Rade Garage and Vanasche Moto make one. Hopefully some future videos of bike in action.
I rode an 890R for 3 years, off road a lot, then I got a 690R. The 690 feels like a full on dirtbike right outta the box compared to the 890R. Around 120lbs lighter. SO much easier to do any kind of off roading on the 690. Which is a no brainer, who ever said "I want a near 500lb dirt bike" ? The 690 is a laugh a minute, wheelies, slides, easy to turn around in tight spots, it hauls ass.....75mph on road is no problem for hours.
I have the white one (701 enduro 2023), with lithium battery sometimes the display doesen't work, map selector with all led lit, abs light on and turn signals not working... probably due to the slight overvoltage of the lithium battery. To reset i need to pull off battery cable and reconnect.
That looks like the top box that you'd buy through Ducati. I don't think there are any differences between his and the 2024, so yes, it should, but your dealer could tell you for sure.
When a top case is attached to a motorcycle, it creates additional weight on the back. As you reach a certain speed, with the added force of the wind, the front becomes even lighter, causing the motorcycle to lift its front end, which can surprise the rider
I thought this motorcycle was on par with the BMW S1000XR in terms of acceleration, but I saw that it goes from 0 to 200 in 12 seconds, while the S1000XR does it in 8-9 seconds in videos. There's actually a significant difference. Shocking
Normal10sec but this bike is slow. my multistrada1200 from 2013 150hp make 0-200 in 9,5sec or MTS1260 Stock same time. the new V4 with 170hp need 10 secs 🎉but she ist little bit faster over 230...
if you wanna navigate....there are a tons of equipment out there that holds your Phone....you are not very bright and you should not this kind of videos...ITS NOT FOR YOU
i have seen it on my PPv4 also. this video recommends raising the forks 10mm. Makes sense. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nZrlh56LoBA.html
Hi Pedro, I just found your vid on the Battery replacement and wanted to ask : I have a 2020 KTM690 Enduro R and when I search for the 'Shido' battery there are so many different options available. Your bike looks like '19/20 model from the graphics and I wanted to ask if you would be kind enough to send me the battery model no. ? I like the clear and measured way you explain these mods and wish you/your channel all the best, I will keep watching. I am in the UK if that makes any difference... Peace Scott V
It’s proven when you have strenght training ,your body will have flexibility, and falling-for motorcycling off road ,as long as it’s not that heavy fall would be ok
