I ask myself the same thing some days. To answer your question: in short - no. They'll keep pushing new content hoping it's enough to keep the game alive and hoping the hype is enough to distract people from the skipped content and the fact that the game's a shell of what it once was

He doesn't get his good amp, some flat stats, omni-killer, morale fill/turn, and morale-scaling lb mod until ex2, so probably not a full mod clear at lvl 99. That said, you could always give it a go and see what happens. Or try lvl 98 with full mods or 99 with an hp or def mod turned off.

Melissa might be an alternative - she's got healing down (tho with a dark imbue) and can cure imperils, 250% human killer, and a st mod for morale lbs.

I don't do damage calcs for CoW so I can't definitively say. She gets 200% chain speed at ex3 so it'd be rougher on the turns where it's just her and cleome chaining, but I'd say give it a shot and see how your damage tracks against mine. I'm not sure what the boss would do past turn 16 other than that it starts to ramp up its morale gain, but if you do have to go to turn 17 or beyond to chain it down you wouldn't want to perfect dispel its fire imbue with avan on turn 16. Aya, cleome, and elena should all have their imbues until t18 at least, so they might be able to chain it down if you can't get a turn 16 kill.

I think it'd be hard to just plunk someone down in her place and leave the rest of the party as-is. You could set cloud strife as the leader and pick up a friend Lightning but it'd be a slower clear and the rotation would change. Not sure how the new dai would fare here under strife's ls, but he might be a viable replacement for Lightning and may burst hard enough to get a quick clear in if you happened to pick him up or can find one in your friend list

If you want to stick with fire then you should bring a different fire dps than Genesis that can hit hard like Aya Brea or Vearn.

A couple of questions: Budget gear or budget unit? It'd have to be one or the other probably. Which leader are you building a team around?

It might - it'd be 50% less stat-buff and 50% less lb damage from Fina's lb vs. slb, but cap's only 24.5 billion and this overcapped by a comfortable margin. I think if it came down to it you could shifted lb sylvie on t2 and put up Lightning I and I've got your back to W.F.Lightning on t3 so she'd at least have 400% atk and 300% lb damage.

Not yet. Been trying a few ideas without just straight-up copying other strats and coming up way short on damage. What sort of roster do you have as far as damage dealers go?

@@b_dobb1994 so I tried to mimic another players guide with fina-the return, Esther, FA Rain, Genesis, Taivais, & BoBF Raegan but I couldn’t emulate it exactly and ended up wiping out. My team I built for it was fire with FA Rain, Aya Brea, & Genesis… I honestly have a lot of great units but my equipment is so-so & I struggle with using the right buffs, “imperils” and breaks

Just my phone's built in screen recorder. The zoom allows for rapid input of commands by quick clicking to spark chain: I'm not sure how it works, but it seems to impact how the app/phone injests the screen touches (as simultaneous) vs reading the actual delay if I'm not zoomed in

I think pretty much any other strong imbueable bolting strike chainer would work. Starlight Elena (with her intrinsic ability) and 2B come to mind since they at least have their own weapon imperils and man-eater buffs. Keep in mind that there's an open party slot and that you can bring a friend to power through if need be.

@@edwardwu4534The upgrade recipe's pretty easy to get - it's just a matter of clearing a S4 stage. You can see the acquisition details if you go to the daily quests menu then scroll over to the tab with the rest of the S4 quest rewards.

It's the only way I can spark chain on my phone - I'm not sure what the mechanics are behind it, but if I zoom in and click quick enough it takes all of the quick-clicked inputs simultaneously.
