I’m sure it is a very smart and comfortable yacht. Sadly lacking the wow factor though, for such a large yacht. It looks like a very nice hotel. But I wouldn’t want to live in a very nice hotel for a week or two. Especially at charter rates. The cinema room was underwhelming. Just a big TV on the wall. They should perhaps just call it a TV room. 😂
You are right, many new yachts now look more like hotels, or in fact this is pretty indistinguishable from any London or New York penthouse apartment featured on RU-vid. I guess you could say that wealth is more often than not heavily correlated with bad taste
Wow… this is what a yacht should look like. Not these current 200-400 foot cruise ship looking monstrosities. Just because you have all that money doesn’t mean you need to spend it. This is the gold standard.
I remeber when this was launched and Justin Ratcliffe did a piece on it for one of the channels he is on, amd theN Fraser did one of their walk through vidoes. Yourss is better.
Having an elevator is not merely a 'convenience' on a yacht, especially on a four decker. Many who could afford to charter a yacht are older folks, and for many of us, resisting the walking of multiple flights of stairs is not simply a matter of laziness, it is a matter of pain.
There are two types of yacht videos to be found on RU-vid; yacht walkthroughs, and charter promotions. A yacht walkthrough will show among other things, engine room(s), crew areas, captain's quarters, and yes of course the all important galley. A charter promotion will usually only show those areas a guest will frequent. This video was a bit odd in that it is obviously a charter promotion, but for some reason showed the engine room, leading us to wonder why we weren't being shown the rest.
I agree, for a small channel there was a lot to commend. I would recommend however that the camera person not so fixate on the presenter. Yes, B roll was often used to reference what was being referred to, but frequently the presenter would refer to something off camera, and the visuals remained steadfastly fixated on the presenter. We are watching to see the yacht, not the presenter. Disengage the presenter lock, pan the area the presenter is presenting.
Too much teak. Would be nice if they used other materials to break it up. Perhaps even add a bit of colour. I am not surprised the owner enjoyed the sky lounge. It was the only place there was a bit of colour in the two cushions, he had left on the yacht. 😂
This yacht requires a $5M interior refit. I prefer a lot of wood utilized in the interior, but darker shades, yet this light finish is overwhelming and cheap looking. The exterior design is intriguing and very likely timeless. It appears that they just ran out of money when it came to the interior.
No in this case id rather get a benetti oasis or benetti b eyond both same price range and new with very cöever interior to have what you have herr with less length so less costs for the berth
It has potential… that’s all I got. Too sparse and uninviting. Where’s the gallery… the staff area… the captains office and accommodations, the engineers office… furnishings… safety equipment (ie, fire extinguishers and emergency rafts, etc)….fly helms… Dude, there’s no staging. Not only did owners take art and leave the frames, they took furniture and much more!
Its true what they say, if you want speed you have to sacrifice space n style. Calling this a yacht is a stretch. Its just a 80ft speedboat. N the "orange" is ugly n overbearing. Ill settle for 35 knots on a galeon 650 n have the luxury n storage
It’s due to minimal contact area with water, as well as the super rigid carbon fiber structure. Seems you need instability to achieve higher speeds and maneuverability, like a fighter jet design.
