Seems a pity to eat a shovel nose ray. They are such a unique creature & got hammered to near extinction in the 70s & 80s by spear fishermen. I used to like seeing them on dives was as special as a white rhino & the biggest one i ever saw was about 5m & had been speared & left to die on Stradbroke Island.
Hi Wayne, when you fish the Bris Rv for Threadies or jew, when you anchor up, were you using your sand anchor or reef pick ? before spot lock. Cheers Chris
Video’s been around for a while but still very helpful. Lucky son was just given a Seasprite 350 from his uncle and we are looking at doing similar. Was curious about how much gap is at the front of the deck for getting the anchor out? The 399 is potentially different and visually looks pretty tight on the 350…
@@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing cheers mate, and thanks for the inspiration. Ended up cutting a hatch for the front which definitely helps with the anchor and storage too. Probably would varnish the ply before carpeting if I was doing again. Came up a treat.
I changed my leaf springs this year but it still hits my driveway when I take out my trailer and back it in again. Any suggestions on how to lift my trailer?
