The New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) is the only institution of higher learning in New York devoted exclusively to the design of the interior environment. We are a nationally ranked, independent, accredited college of design and have been in continuous operation since 1916.
I’ll probably never know for sure, but me and a friend had a little delivery business in LA called Sudden Moves. One of our clients was a gent named Michael Smith who was doing the home of Katherine Graham’s son. I remember how he had us move a dozen or so oriental rugs and told us it’s important to get the rugs right, because they are your best investment! Hahaha 😂. Can’t remember his middle initial (if he even had one). He was a very nice guy to work for. I’m long out of the ‘delivery business’. I enjoy this man’s work, in any event!
I love Corey. I wish I had the funds and connections to invite him over here to the mountain west to help me out in my little old 1920's house! He has impeccable taste and I love his grace and humor. That hurt my heart to think that he was shut out by those snobs at that designer event. I'm sure they are singing a different tune now. Blach. I hate phony fake snobby people, regardless of their "success." Thank you so much for featuring him!
Interior is absolutely important not only for persons who are living in, but also great important who will visit or who would share living in. Please try your best young girl!
yes its true, almost all modern architecture makes Me want to puke. they are creating designs that androids would be happy to live in. the trash public spaces they create encourage people to drop litter and trash them. people dont care about those spaces. they are dehumanizing spaces, obsessed with the fascism of geometry and the straight line.
Really interesting. Regardless of the AV a real chapter of design in the 20c. Maureen has amazing insight on this period if you listen carefully. If your interested this is great.
