Your video hasn’t aged too well. But that’s ok. Being an Astros fan, I thought 2025 would be our last year. With the way our pitching staff is developing and forest whitley finally killing it. Who knows. I think our future depends next year and able to sign Kyle Tucker. If Bregman doesn’t get the money he wants out in the market. I can see him resigning. Astros fans do love him
I always remember the longest conversation before ejection when the replay was reversed, remember the balk call on Pirates/Padres game? That was insane. Took a while to eject Green. It was called a balk, then it’s not and now it is lol. Clint Hurdle was lucky
@@BatFlipBaseballl Brother all your videos are click bait/rage bait titles or based on negativity in general, I didn't watch it. Saw a ridiculous title in the feed and did some drive by hating. Is Paul Skenes bad? Are the Astro done? Nick Castellanos TERRIBLE timing moments! Terry Felton was booty I get what you doing, presenting a negative view and arguing against it, but to me if comes off as some scummy. I did watch the video after your comment and I think its really good and you have a passion for the sport, presenting your point, editing, its all good. Just my 2 cents on the choice of titles. Could drive some people away or attract an audience you dont want (like people posting "Paul Skenes washed bros, its over" lol)
@@Rudipu thats how the entirety of modern media works, you cant get butthurt over a guy on youtube asking a question being seen elsewhere and answering it. If you wanna take questions as clickbait that is your own mistake.
First and foremost I was responding to your original comment with sarcasm so my apologies if it came off as anything but. Secondly, the video titles are a huge driver behind getting people to watch the video as the person additionally in the thread pointed out. I don’t like it but it really is the current state of media today - negativity. The Terry Felton video was meant to be a tribute to a man who deserved better, the Castellanos one was about as straight forward as I could get (that was actually the second title of the video), the Astros one and this were purely for getting people to watch with the sole intention of showing people everything is not what you see. I appreciate your kind words at the end and I hope that everyone can take a second to realize I didn’t make this video to call Paul Skenes washed. Have a great night brother 🫡
This is very true. And with a talent like his, he’ll overcome any troubles (likely) easier than most other rookies. But the video was mainly to outline the areas where he can improve if he wants to get back to that starts 6-12 type of run.
The other one is... teams finally have a lot of film on him and can break down patterns, arm angle, release, and just know what they're working with now. They can do their homework. Similarly, this happens in the NFL with new QBs. Defenses are expecting X and get Y, Y has a great game, but once people figure out Y, it shows why they're a backup (Bailey Zappe is an example in the NFL... they had 2 - 3 games that were good and then downhill). Skenes has good talent and a ton of potential. Part of being a pro is being able to mix it up and be consistently good. Its hard to rely on triple digit fastball or exploding sliders every single pitch. Part of that comes with experience.
THIS! Although I never mentioned that teams are likely picking up on the scouting a bit easier, I firmly believe what you said is exactly what Paul will overcome. This is a very common thing for young rookies to go through and I think you said that very well.
Exactly the kind of person I expected to comment on this video. Gotta watch the whole thing to understand. But yes, tremendous pitcher and fantastic stats 🫡
You didn’t watch the whole video it seems. I made it very clear that this likely wasn’t gonna be the year of the downfall, but rather in the next couple of years.
Well he kind of did it again last night when I was at the Yankees/Phillies game! I was talking to a family friend of ours who went with us about my lady who left me, which I'm so devastated about as we speak. But literally as soon as I finished my sentence, he then got a base hit, which at least gave me a bit of a chuckle. Let's just say that I kept my mouth shut in his subsequent at bats which thankfully did the trick, since I was rooting for the Yankees too! L.O.L.!
Fergie would have done good if she hadn't had put her own spin on it and just sang it normally like I'm sure it would have been good then but yeah Fergie is definitely better
