Just used some 12 gauge solid core copper wire to keep ball and socket together, it's held for about a year so far. I'll get it fixed properly in time, that's why your video is in my Watch Later list.
Folks. When you replace you alternator make sure to check the connector plug. This model is a four pin. You can end up with an alternator that has a three pin if you’re not careful. The fourth pin in the newer model tells the ecu to raise the rpm’s if the alternator is under a heavy load. The three pin units do not have that wire to send that signal to the ecu.
I have a 2006 Buick rendezvous I change the belts was driving home and on Sunday just shut off on me and doesn't even want to start or turn over what can it be
No, this does not help at all. It does not show the vacuum line routing to and from the vacuum ball or where it needs to connect on the other side of the firewall. !!! 😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ - this led me in a better direction, but it does not help me one bit
taken bracket out of the way is being smart , avoid injuries to hands and fingers, I'm 64 and doing alternator swap in my front yard. and it's taken me 47 mins to remove it. most videos and tech talks are bs ,you don't need to jack the engine up or losen motor mount brackets. you smart always say reevaluate the situation
Mine blows out cold air for a bit but then stops right away and blows nothing but hot air,and i noticed it had too much freon,would it be better to take some out somehow?
Most AC systems today are critical charge systems. When charging the systems they need to be charged exactly to specifications. Or other things can be damaged. My advice would be have some evacuated and charge it to charge and see what happens.
@CoopersAutomotiveRepair yeah took some out, checked relays and all that, my clutch isn't engaging so just gonna go ahead and order a new compressor for it
The yellow wrench popped up and I changed the throttle body, purge valve, fuel pump relay, fuel pump sensor, MAF sensor, as well as the oil pressure sensor, and as soon as I start my truck it starts fine but as soon as I put the truck in Drive it starts to idle really rough then cuts off. The turns off and I get a low oil pressure warning as well as the yellow wrench right after that code what could be the problem
In the beginning you say 2011 smart car. In the end you say 2010 smart car :) it's the same, but it was funny for me to notice :) great video, I watched it multiple times as I am doing the same work, thank you
