BespokeCrete is a Microcement flooring, furniture, and interior decoration manufacturer; sharing educational Microcement content, as well as videos around our product launches, site installs and bespoke creations. Microcement is a cement-based coating that is mixed with fine aggregates, resins and pigments to provide an extremely strong and high bonded finish. It is anti-slip, mould resistant and fully waterproof material that produces a stylish polished concrete type finish.
We provide a range of hand-crafted products and services, including bespoke furniture, sinks, baths, floorings and kitchen designs. Our ranges of interior and exterior furniture bring a sustainable, sleek and revolutionary slant to what has become outdated and a throwaway culture of sub-standard products. The Microcement that we use is also highly durable , hence its suitability for both inside and outside projects.

Microcement is very dependent on the surface that it is being applied to and it has to be solid and stable. The correct prep is vital. If a crack appears, it is difficult to rectify and usually means the whole surface needs Microcementing again after the crack has been fixed.
Microcement can be applied over a multitude of surfaces, we haven't tested it on tin flashing and the importance would be whether the resin primer can create enough of a bond to stay adhered to the tin? If the bond is not created properly, you would be able to peel the layers (resin primer, fibreglass mesh, base coats, microcement coats and sealers) off in 1 piece. It is something you could try, but we would never guarantee without though testing.
Microcement is non-porous and makes a fantastic worktop. We make and install multiple kitchen worktops and outside kitchens. Please see our blog where we perform a stain test. www.bespokecrete.com/is-microcement-expensive/
Yes - we use Microcement in multiple bathrooms, wet rooms, showers etc.... creating a fully seamless finish. We can supply low-profile shower trays with all the falls and linear drains to create walk-in showers. Please visit our gallery page on the website www.bespokecrete.com/gallery/ Where you can view - wet rooms, bathrooms, showers, outside kitchens, baths, sinks and more - all handmade and coated in our multi-layer Microcement system.
@@bemanaman-wt7jn That all depends on the cost of the ceramic? Microcement can vary depending on the installation. It is not a budget option, generally with our skilled applicators being on site for 7 days, creating a seamless, grout and silicon-free finish. There are lots of photo examples of seamless showers, wet rooms and bathrooms. www.bespokecrete.com/gallery/
Thanks for your message. Microcement can be applied to most strong, stable surfaces. To keep the weight down you could apply the Microcement over 6 mm ply and stick that directly to the wall depending on size. The Microcement system is 2-3 mm thick so extremely light in comparison to concrete but the application would still add weight to the caravan. For example - our Microcement (that is not available for the public to buy) A 10 kg base coat (with the mesh) will cover around 6m² and the second coat will cover around 10m². A 6kg tub of Microcement should cover around 10m² - depending on the size of your caravan - would determine how much Microcement you use. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions please let us know - more info can be found on our IG account instagram.com/bespokecrete/
Thank you for your comment and looking at the spec for both Semco waterproofing membrane or Laticrete Hydroban - I wouldn’t recommend these over the top of Microcement. Microcement is a complete system build up (consisting of several layers) with each layer designed to complement the previous one. Using a different product could cause a reaction and damage the layers below.
Thank you for your comments. This video is called "How to order Microcement" and is a video explaining how to order a product from BespokeCrete. If you would like to see products - please check out one of the "product" videos and samples (along with different colours) can be found on our website www.bespokecrete.com
Can I apply micro cement to a sink. It’s a BLANCO silgranit sink, like a composite sink. It’s extremely stained. Will microcement withstand hot liquids.
It all depends on the Microcement that you are using as they vary enormously. Each Microcement brand will have their own recommendations on the substrate beneath that can be coated and the correct way to prep it. Our Microcement can take boiling liquids, hot pans straight from the oven etc.... We make lots of kitchen sinks, worktops, outside kitchens and bathroom sinks - that all perform and meet our high standards.
BespokeCrete are an elite installer that have been on lots of training courses. The purpose of this video is to explain "what the benefits of Microcement are" and that is the title. It is not to show you how to apply Microcement. If you want to learn more - maybe you could book a course and learn the correct way to apply Microcement as we undertake lots of jobs to correct poorly applied Microcement for customers.
Thank you for your comment Gaone - this video is called "How to Order a Microcement Product with BespokeCrete" and the purpose of this video is to explain the process of ordering from us as it can sometime seem confusing with all the different options. That is why this video is mostly talking and explaining the process. If you want to see more of our products, why don't you check out our other videos that aimed at that :)
love microcement but I can scratch it even with my nail (after 2 layers of hard varnish), this video is deceiving. You will need felt paddings under anything that comes in contact with your microcement.
Microcement comes in various brands - all with different qualities and some with slightly differing properties. I can confirm this company's Microcement is, in fact, Scratch RESISTANT and is incredibly difficult to penetrate.
Microcemnt is an amazing product and there are many brands on the market. I can guarantee that if you can scratch your Microcement surface with your finger nail then this is not the brand that we are featuring right here in this video. This video is not deceiving - it is showing an “actual” board coated in Microcement that is being scratched with a razor blade and this brand is called Forecrete - the only one we use and trust (after trying several) Not all Microcement cement is created equally and there are lots of brands out there, but we believe this is the only one on the market that has this kind of strength! This Microcement can take hot pans straight from the oven, no felt pads used EVER - we use it for kitchen worktops, outside kitchens, furniture etc… all with fantastic success.
