My parents died a couple of years ago. For two years my mother fought cancer only to lose the battle after 22 months of fighting. My dad developed cancer two years later and also lost his battle to this terrible disease. While I was caring for them over these years, we would have conversations about their lives. We talked and reminisced about their adventures. They talked about their fun trips, all the things they got to see and experience, and even the terrible trips that nothing seemed to go right (which sometimes those terrible trips were the funniest and most interesting ones). All those long nights we would talk, it was never about the things that they had, it was always about the experiences they did, adventures they took, and time they had together. So Steve and I decided we needed to travel and experience some adventures of our own before we reach that age that it is not possible for us. Come join us on our trips while we discover some adventures of our own.
Each one of these beaches has its own name. There is no "sand island." That is Nukumoi Point. For a few months of the year the currents change and wash out the sand bar that connects it to Poipu Beach. The video of the ocean floor is not a reliable guide. Sand washes in and out during the year. So the ocean floor is subject to a lot of change. Brennecke's is a dangerous beach and completely unsuited for snorkeling. Some of the other beaches shown in this video can also be dangerous, with strong currents. They are best left to experienced ocean swimmers. Enjoy the hotel's pool!
Thank you for the tour. Trying to decide where to stay in Orlando, never been to Orlando. We are travelling from Ireland in September. This looks beautiful. ❤
We stayed at the Moorea Hilton Resort and Spa. It was great and would highly recommend. There is a video on our page showing a tour of the resort and our room.
Thank you for your video. What days were you at the resort? I ask because we're going to book for the 3rd week in Feb 2025 and i was wondering about the weather, pool water temps, etc. We stayed there once for a week in 2017 but it was summer.
We were there in December of last year. The weather was cool while we were there, mid to high 60’s during the day and 50’s at night. The pools were heated and people were swimming, even in the evening. We did the hot tub then the pool in the evening time and it wasn’t bad at all.
We had dinner included and I think 5 pubs. During walks between pubs you get some historical information about Cologne. It was a very festive and fun tour.
Thanks for the tour. It has been a few years since we have been to Sheraton Vistana Resort. So much has changed since those days when we were there when much of it was shut down because of the certain unnamed situation. Good to see inside a Spas villa as we haven't stayed in one of those before. We've been in many other different rooms during our many stays there. Such a great resort! The hot tub/spa in the Fountains pool is kinda hidden. It is up on top of the waterfall.
Hi, we are heading to Vistana Resort at the end of April. I was just wondering if you had any issues with the Internet in the apartment. I've heard some mixed reviews about the Internet. Otherwise the resort looks excellent.
We just got back home today after a week. We stayed at the falls section. The internet was terrible. Pretty much non existent. Called front desk daily and said the provider was working on it.
hi THANKS for sharing this video. I need to choose between this place or the Westin Keirland Villas. May I ask how the food was at that one restaurant?
awesome video. You said Bonvoy points were used to book St. Regis. Did you have to pay for the upgrade to overwater bungalow? Also are you titanium or ambassador member?
My wife and I went to Bora-Bora in 2020… This October we are going to Moorea First for five nights before going to Bora-Bora. Thank you for the content👍🏻
Great video. We'll be at the St Regis in Oct. Super excited. I've been to Moorea and Rangiora but never Bora Bora. Very clever jumping from your home swimming pool to the lagoon in Bora Bora. Loved it!
Have really found your videos on your trip to Bora Bora entertaining and helpful . Our family is heading there next June and staying at the St. Regis. Can’t wait to get there but until then we’ll enjoy great videos like yours.
Thank you, we are always looking for hotel and resort videos so we try to do some. But we are just learning. Much appreciate you comment. You will love Bora Bora and the St. Regis.. It is a land and place of its own...
I’m headed to bora bora next week, but I’ll be staying at the Conrad. I’m wondering if they allow non guests to come over and get a drink at the 727 bar and to watch the sunset at the St Regis? 🤔
Not sure if you are owners, but if you are and used StarOptions to reserve, the housekeeping fees are now gone because of the integration with the Marriott Abound program. Thanks for the tour. This is one of our favorite resorts in Orlando!
Are you saying that we do all the cool stuff when we leave all you guys at home??? Yes, this is at animal kingdom. Next year, you guys need to do this. It was really interesting.
I ran across your video while daydreaming about St. John. I've been 5 times and it is still my favorite place on earth. I couldn't remember what the beach was like at the Westin, so I skipped ahead to that part. I was so tickled to see you are a fellow Cowboy! Go Pokes!
During this cruise, Disney was still sitting one family or party per table due to COVID. We were a party of two and a couple a nights they put us at a table for eight. It was kind of funny.😊😊

Very nice, but I sill like the The Westin Maui in Ka’anapali, has GREAT cusomer service, it's nicer and closer to all activities and restaurants. Beautiful beach walk way. I've stayed there 6 times at 2-3 weeks each and LOVE it! No way am I going on vacation and cooking myself.
