Dali wins...Dali has such anawesome soundstage...I've always thought b&w was to neutral sounding... perhaps after a very long breakin b&w would get much better...
This is not a review. How are we to discern the sound quality? I'm on headphones, therefor can't tell the difference between a B&W or Dali. It sounds like my headphones and it;s really trying. It's like looking at an advertisement for 4K TV when you have 1080P. Who are you fooling?
Can't really hear much on a tack RU-vid video. But I have old Dali and they do sound pretty good as long as the turn table set up best possible. CD and stream also pretty good . I have a NAD amp .and use a Technics pre amp for vinyl . The NAD doesn't have a RIAA amp.
I use DJ equipment and it's sounds better than the high price hi-fi stuff. Please stop looking at these rich man's toys cuz all they doing is trying to sell your old price stereo equipment . Get you a good set of PV speakers and a nice app and hook it to your stereo system and it sounds just as good or better☺️ .

Szymon Melewski I like the way it looks! The sound quality is hard to describe because everyone has a different taste but I like the bass come out of these.
Hi, I have heard them all, and my thoughts are; - The Opticon (I had the 8's) was superb, the bass was deep but tended to be a bit sloppy, was a bigger 8 inch. Maybe the 6 is better. The treble tended to be a bit harsh, especially with class D amps. They seemed a bit harsh at the top end, but after I moved over from the Lyngdorf SDA-2400 to a better Acustic Arts POWER 1. The bass was a bit tighter and the treble more tolerable, but I sold mine as my ears are very sensitive to treble. - The Rubicons surprised me, its a smaller speaker than I was used to, but sounded incredible with my SDA-2400. Everything was just a bit more balanced than the Opticon, bass was tighter and more controlled, and treble was a dream to listen to. Female voices in particular stood out hugely on this! Midrange was a bit more than the Opticon, but I tend to favor warmer sounds over the harsher cooler treble. Overall great speaker, demands a little less space than the Opticon. - The Epicon (My current setup) is incredible to listen to, but in the start i felt that it was a bit sloppy, and considering the cost of these, I felt a bit let down. I went to the local sound guy, not your average big box ofc, and he came back to my place to listen. With him he brought new cables, a new amp, new turntable and more. We slowly started to connect each item, and listen in between each step. Switch back and forth, and in the end I was amazed. Suddenly it sounded warm, balanced, and vinly came to life. Sadly he had to disconnect it, because this upgrade alone was the same cost as the speakers.. Over time I upgraded my amp, to my now Acustic Arts POWER 1. (I had both for a while) and later sold the SDA-2400. The Epicon is brutally honest, and can be your dream speaker or worst nightmare, you need to treat them well, and ensure the fuel is super clean. You will hear it all with these. The others was a bit more forgiving in this regard. These sound almost exactly the same at any volume level, which is incredible, as I hardly ever listen above 80 Db for extended periods of time. (Neighbors..) Cant go wrong with either of these, but man the amp is more important than I expected, and I am truly leaning towards the Class AB design. The Class D is great for smaller setups, but its like the speakers seemed harder to drive with the class D, I had to turn it up way higher, increasing the noise floor, compared with my class AB. No matter what you choose, spend the same on the amp and avoid NAD. Their "Hybrid" design does not sound good.
@@mitas3484 nice one! Now running the Epicon 6 with a Hegel H390 but I must admit I was more convinced on the R7 speakers. Probably go with the R11 over these Epicons, 10k for a 8 years of pair...i think we will soon see an update. And in my opinion they must because kef r series are sounding amazing for the price.
