As a photographer, I find solace and inspiration in the beauty of wildlife and the natural world. Through my lens, I strive to capture fleeting moments that convey the essence and grandeur of the creatures that inhabit our planet. In an era marked by environmental challenges and diminishing habitats, my photographs serve as a visual testament to the importance of preserving and protecting our fragile ecosystems.
Decades again, the late Dr. Don Rose of KFRC did part of a broadcast from atop one of the towers of the GGB. On my bucket list is to be on top of one of the towers on a foggy day.
it was a little more active but still not like last year. I saw a couple of barn owls at dawn, a great horned owl pair and the usual kites and harriers@@cliks4kix
Amazing footage! That looks like a huge (do you know what kind?) snake the Heron caught! The snake was struggling even moving around 0:38! but the hungry Heron managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? I wonder, does the large snake stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic neck/stomach and has a chance of survival here.
I love this place. It's a birders dream if you're into Raptors. I saw every bird in this video. What time did you see the barn owl? I saw them too but it was too dark to capture a photo. I want a picture so bad
Great captures of these raptors! I shoot wildlife from time to time as well around the bay area. Have you seen the ospreys in half-moon bay yet? Also the peregrine falcons?
