For over twenty years Pandaw has specialised in exploring the remote and off-the-beaten-track rivers of South East Asia, places that few, if any, can navigate. We offer travellers a truly exclusive, unique experience. In 2019 we reopen in India with three new routings covering the key North Indian Waterways of the Lower Ganges or Hooghly, Upper Ganges as far as Varanasi and the Brahmaputura.
Finished in brass and teak by skilled local craftsmen and in the tradition of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company. All seventeen Pandaw’s unique fleet are finished to exacting first class standards with all modern conveniences. Objects of great beauty, these vessels have an ultra shallow draft and can venture where other ships can not.
I've been on multiple cruises with Pandaw . I love every moment as there is a new experience each and every time. No hidden costs, all inclusive as promised. Brilliant food and exceptional friendly service.
Stupid made up story really down plays what a spectacular and mysterious place Angkor Wat truly is. “Religious Temple” or “Tomb of whoever” is a tired and ridiculous claim of academia who are to vain to believe they can’t possibly wrong in their assumptions or maybe just simple liars
@Sridharan Shanmuganathan thank you for the information. Could you please substantiate what you have mentioned ? Furthermore to my knowledge Tamil was the language spoken, well a deviated form.
Scientists do their best to get to the original Scriptures/Manuscripts/Texts or that is closest to it . Natives/Predecessor to modern day people who themselves forgot about Angkor Wat should not be a reference since they were emigrants.
My wife and I did this trip in 2019 and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and wonderful scenery. We are looking forward to our next Pandaw river cruise.
I did the 10 days Mekong Cambodia to Vietnam cruise in 2016 and really enjoyed it.The service is just excellent and the atmosphere is so relaxing.Just a couple of things which would make the cruise even better.Firstly, while there are lots of activities during the land excursions available eg. bicycle and ox cart ride, tree planting, dancing with the local etc etc.,there is no opportunity for a simple swim or snorkeling (which I would have really enjoyed).Secondly, the stool in the cabin can be rather uncomfortable to sit on over a period of time.A chair with good back support would have been better. While this promotional video looks really good,I think drone footage should not be shown in promotional videos because when you are cruising at sea level or even during land excursions, you will not be able to see the area the way the drones can.
We have been on many Pandaw cruises and have always been well looked after and enjoyed the experiences offered. Would love to go on this one. Unfortunately Asia now is beyond us as steps are a big problem for us both. I would encourage fitter people than us to go as this looks like a great adventure.
