Master, you are right! It’s a punishing for the righthand. I’ve learned all bars and are able to play them, but the righthand, everytime, is very difficult. In the beginning I thought that it was the highnis of my bridge, like playing on a FLETA. But is is the strenghts in your bridgehand, specially the thump ball! Thank you for your view and lessons! Alexander, France.👍🎶❤️
1944年3月8日(80岁),Pepe is Romero family president。A legend of a generation! The Pepe family is cute, IMHO, but the Romero family’s guitar skills are not the best. The best skills are in England, Germany, France and Italy, not in Spain, let alone the United States!
I would like to take this opportunity to express my utmost gratitude to The Great Virtuoso Mr. Romero who in 1980s magically inspired my soul for the first time to listening and starting on learning the classical guitar. Thank you, Thank you! I feel I owe you a lot culturally. 🌹
How beautiful to hear Mr. Parkening's testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. The aim and final reason of all music is none else but the Glory of God. Amen.
Maestro, thank you for the beautiful rendition of the Barrios and the lovely heartfelt story of Celedonio and your mother. Your dear old friend and loyal student always, w love and gratitude, Gary
Since just about all, if not all, of the best guitarists place the actual forearm on the guitar without getting any nerve damage, I would say that you are wrong about this.
Maestro Parkening brought me to the classical guitar. I’ve had the privilege of hearing him in person twice, and read his wonderful autobiography, “Grace Like a River.” Thank-you for this interview.
Williams is indeed a great guitarist but there is no such thing as No. 1 because music is not a race. Parkening has also made many great recordings and has toured the world for over 50 years. He deserves respect.
