I am bad but when the authorities publicly made a example of me everyone else believes that I'm bad to understand in my head they would say that it's for your own good to change my ways by shaming me it didn't I was more bothered about everyone gossiping about me in the end I ended up with paranoia and phychosios

my boyfriend has autism and was abusing meth for a while which led to a lack of sleep, decline in self care, etc… he went through psychosis for about 8 months. as soon as he stopped doing drugs, the next day his delusions and hallucinations just stopped. he went to a mental hospital during that period, and he still came out thinking that way. he also had a troubled childhood and spent all his teenage years abusing opiates which later turned into worse drugs. these videos are very helpful and help me understand his situation better. im doing anything to prevent/avoid something like that happening again, and i appreciate what you’re doing!

The reason Oculus/VR helps people break from psychosis and helps with voices is because of the idea seed it plants in ones brain. If you try it, you will realize that voices that comment on what you are looking at must be from your own mind.

The whole reason why I developed POCD was because I remembered that highschool people date (which they usually do) then I though” wait what if someone is dating someone a year or two younger than them and they turn 18, is it still legal? Or is it legal for a 17 year old to fall in love with an 18 year old? Then I though “oh no what if when I turn 18 I turn into a pedo” and that began a slow escalation into me being afraid of hearing babies cry because when you hear a baby cry, it fires a response in your brain that generally makes you want to console the baby (I think this only applies to people who don’t hate children of course) and my brain mistook the feeling of concern for something bad. Now I constantly have to check if I’m aroused or not which sucks because whenever you think about being aroused it causes arousal (at least for me it does, but that’s also cause I had a stroke a few months ago and it might have affected how I perceive it) and of course, I remembered how back in like medieval times it used to be okay to marry children (which is absolutely awful to think about. Hell, even the Virgin Mary was a child, she was 13 I believe) and it made me wonder what would happen if the times never changed and that was still normal. Horrifying to think about.

Does anyone find that their trauma blends with their psychotic symptoms? My delusions are always somewhat socially related and persecutory. They just kept getting more and more out there, intense, and crippling. It’s like you can always see a tinge of the things I’ve already experienced in them. Always extremely negative and like you take the cognitive distortions seen in depression and turn up the dial and intensity of them. It’s always felt like my brain was screaming bad things to me but ironically I also felt like I couldn’t think straight. Horrible.

Isn’t sad that people mistreatment of you, abuse you, and ostracising you can mess your brain you sometimes beyond repair. It's the evilest thing a person can do to another. Especially if it was also done to them they shouldn’t want anyone to endure what they did. I isolate because I’m on a my few last strands of holding on to myself and it’s not worth it to trust people with that in the hopes they won’t be the nail in the coffin that will send me into a permanent delusion or darkness that I won’t be able to come from. My ex sent me deeper to a place that I’m climbing my way out of. Together 5.5yrs and I started doing my EMDR for CPTSD. It seems that his abuse, isolation of me got worse to where he was using the very thing I was trying over come in therapy against me. I do believe these people themselves are beyond that darkness and they drag others there with them. Because why would someone consciously do this to another? Unless they themselves are in the darkness, trapped and want to have buddies there with them? Most people aren’t going to do the work to come out of that, yes most people are there and I’ve been trying to find my way back to the light since being constantly beat down into that hole from my family, friends, and almost every ex bf. The only way for me to get there is to avoid people and turn to God to help me come to the truth and to that light which is the narrow path out of this dark world

Moral Injury: A Holistic Approach Dr. Mason, Your previous explanation on Moral Injury (MI) appeared to be a blend of secular, Freudian, and Jungian perspectives, incorporating treatments typically used for PTSD and various other psychological issues. However, it seems to overlook a crucial aspect: MI is fundamentally a spiritual or religious problem, not a psychological one. The Spiritual Nature of Moral Injury Moral Injury often involves a profound sense of betrayal, guilt, and existential disillusionment. This can arise in various contexts, including military, law enforcement, medical, or civilian settings. Those suffering from MI feel betrayed by institutions, society, or even God/Higher Power. This leads to feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, and worthlessness, which often culminates in suicide, especially among military Vets. The Spiritual Solution Standard psycho-therapeutic interventions fall short because they do not address the spiritual dimension of MI. Reconnecting the individual with their spiritual beliefs or their highest positive intent is essential. Here, the problem of MI is restructured: 1. Reconnection with God/Higher Power or Atheist’s Highest Positive Intent: Facilitate a reconnection between the individual and their experience of God or their highest positive intent. This spiritual reconnection provides a sense of hope and purpose. 2. Restructuring the Problem: Guide the individual to give their problem back to God or their highest positive intent. Using hypnotic language of mercy and change helps in reintegrating the problem back into the person in a transformed way. 3. Addressing the Trauma: • Elicit all the major traumas in chronological order. • Run the trauma backward to the beginning, with everything moving and talking backward. This method restructures the traumatic experience and resolves the trauma. There is an additional benefit, that by resolving the worst trauma of the person’s life, it has the domino effect on all other traumas. 4. Replacing Limiting Beliefs: After the trauma is addressed, replace limiting beliefs with ones that are less limiting and install new, empowering behaviors. Practical Implementation This approach requires a deep understanding of the individual's spiritual framework and the ability to use hypnotic language effectively. By following these steps, the risk of suicide is significantly reduced, and the individual can be reconnected with the forgiving power of their spiritual beliefs. Conclusion Moral Injury is a complex issue that requires a holistic approach, integrating first the spiritual and then the psychological dimension. By acknowledging the spiritual nature of MI and using techniques that address this aspect, we offer more effective and compassionate support to those affected. Good luck in your endeavors to understand and implement these methods. May this guide provide a clearer path to healing for those suffering from Moral Injury.

Glad I found this because my right hand for ten years is unable to write or paint. Always shaking when trying to paint or relax. But a consultant Neurologist in 2007 told me that a craineotomy for status epilepticus. The aggressiveness of the removal of 4cm of tumour from the upper right anterior Hippocampus and full dissection of the limbic amygdala near the basal Ganglias. Would cause severe deficiency in dopamine and seratonin levels. This Could at some stage result in a mild form of schizophrenia followed with dementia.

Thank you for your compassion and common sense. For a boy who has his sexuality scarred with a scalpel (by the NHS) only to then be treated as a criminal for his unchosen attractions, might suspect the Human Rights Act has failed him. David Cameron had "pae*do*philes" officially equated to "te*ror*rists", and the government have not yet retracted or reversed his persecutory legislation. Oh yeah, the same man who announced how "proud" he was that people can "practice their religious beliefs".

i grew up in an extremely abusive foster home surrounded by Pedophiles and predators and experienced CSA and other types of abuse all my life. in the past few years,i had an ex partner take advantage of me when i was feeling safe enough to try and help heal my trauma through voluntary age regression(i also have ASD and cptsd. so i'm naturally a bit more childlike espeially in my special interests, fashion etc and in my personality anyway and can age regress involuntarily too) anyway. He consistently made me uncomfortable by sending me explicit photos and he also got aroused while i was regressed. After that i stopped doing anything like that voluntarily because i felt uncomfortable and yuck. He explained it away and not long after that i found some horrible things he was hiding. The police cleared him of any wrong doing..SOMEHOW???? wtf. but he 'blamed me' for all of it and blamed me for what i had found, because he supposedly 'couldn't talk to me'. This dude knew what i had been through as a child and my biggest fears and i had processed so much trauma with this persons 'help' and now i'm even more traumatised and broken. i already had ocd before all that happened but now my ocd is SEVERE and my ocd likes to focus on pocd/harm ocd and i feel like i must be a horrible awful person. its terrifying. i'd never fucking hurt anyone ever and the thought of any of this makes me physically sick and its disgusting and im in no way attracted to any of it. but he blamed his fucked up shit,on me? i dont know how its my fault.. i feel like i can no longer be myself and have the same personality i did as i fear others will either take advantage of me again or think i'm a creep. I've tried to self delete from earth due to all of this because i was so so scared. It doesn't help when people have this sort of saying of 'most people who were abused will become abusers'. when i see people say that my ocd convinces me that i 'must be an abuser' although i have never ever done anything and will never do anything to hurt someone else. its really debilitating.
