Yesssssss I was just thinking this song works SO WELL for Fullmetal Alchemist, and sure enough several people have make FMA amvs set to the song, but yours it the one that hit all the beats that I wanted out of this concept, and some that hadn't occured to me! Love it!!!!
I never heard of Rihanna's song having that intro. But her voice there reminds me so much of actress Rose Leslie (who plays Ygritte in Game of Thrones). But anyway, it's a cool song for this ship.
"you act like you have some kind of a monopoly on grief". This is why wars suck. Every single person fighting is either fighting to avenge family/friends, or to protect family or friends. It drives me crazy that no one wants to acknowledge that maybe the "bad guy" is only defending his own. Like maybe someone attacked someone he considers his tribe and he had enough of it... When will the world grow up and listen when someone tells them why they started a war. Then the world acts like it is the only one that suffered. Its so stupid. Hold a grown up conversation about it, god damn it!
My only disappointment from the show was that ed never got the chance to learn eastern alchemy and got his powers taken away and greed died that's all else it is in my top 5 favourite anime list
