I dont understand why they keep passengers trapped in the aircraft for long periods when they are trying to fix it or waiting for a replacement part . That’s downright criminal . Tempers can flare , people can start feeling unwell etc etc . The maintenance team are not fools , they know roughly how long its going to take to fix the issue , so dont use that as an excuse . Staff and management are just trying to save themselves the extra hassle of deboarding and reboarding . In most cases , that is eventually what happens after hours of being trapped in a plane thats not going anywhere . Seven pound vouchers ....hahaha ....after 4 hrs trapped. And Demi dont be patronizing...we passengers understand that technical issues do arise and must be fixed . What frustrates us is that you keep us sitting in that confined space for hours together . Let passengers disembark , whilst you fix the plane or find an alternative. Half an hour should be the maximum limit that passengers can be kept confined like that . Imagine the plight of animals that are travelling in the cargo hold . Shame . And to top it all , the attitude of the staff whilst answering the questions and frustrations of those passengers. We understand that the staff us not at fault ...the management is , but as you call yourselves the face of the company, and are the representatives of the company and the ones present there , the staff need to face the flak . Its part of the job . You take the credit , so take the flak too .
the reason why airlines use deboarding as a last resort is not because it's a big hassle or because they don't want to let passengers off. ITS FOR SECURITY REASONS. once they have completed boarding they have a whole manifest of people on the aircraft, which CAN'T BE CHANGED, this means should a passenger get lost during deboarding and reboarding THEN it is going to be a hassle as they then have to count the passengers that have gotten on, recheck it with the manifest, call company if someone doesn't show up, call the ramp to take the missing passengers luggage off the plane (AFTER ITS JUST BEEN LOADED). So think because you make a dumb comment like that as you have NO idea what goes into the security aspect of things.
@@kokob1975 there is a holding area where in circumstances like this passengers are asked to wait in . No one can exit or enter . And it’s infinitely better than sitting in a cramped plane which is going nowhere for hours on end . Thats a fact as it happened to me once whilst travelling from JFK to Dbx ( dubai). Next , didnt they teach you to communicate in school . I don’t remember being taught that to disagree with somebody , one has to be rude . Says a lot about you . Goodbye and good riddance
@@ed4all33 not all airports are built the a ''holding area'' to disembark passengers, airports in europe have arriving and departing in the same locations, same with airports in the US, also the IATA for Dubai is DXB not DBX
Hello AviationCity, what a lovely video about the amazing Qantas 787! My name is HP and I am writing to you to ask I you would allow me to use some seconds of this video. I want to make a RU-vid-Video about the A350-900 ULR and wanted to use some seconds of your video. So I would like to mention at the beginning of the video and also in the description: “Film footage by courtesy of AviationCity" and will link your video. Would this be fine for you? I do not make any money with my videos and simply want to share my fascination with this interesting topic with others. This is my little RU-vid-Channel: ru-vid.com/show-UCorl_MAPyKK5G24p0CngIAA. Hope to hear from you! HP
