U ever noticed that the Irish have never came under fire for their mascot. I mean, we do realize that the Irish aren't leprechauns and they have never gotten mad about the mascot. This is a bunch of white people with white guilt trying to make a big deal from nothing. I would find it an honor to be portrayed by a sports team. The Seminole name comes from an actual tribe. The redskins could be seen as derogatory, bit not Seminole, braves, or chiefs. Why are there not a bunch of pirates complaining or Texans, Patriots, Saints,49ers, cowboys, and Canucks are all named after a type of people. That's why I feel it's white guilt, pandering. Calling a Seminole a Seminole or a cowboy a cowboy isn't offensive, is it? Calling the Irish leprechauns, well I could see that being offensive if u have thin skin. Then there's the argument of the mascot being depicted as cartoonish being offensive, but all mascot pictures are cartoonish. I mean people could argue "giants" is derogatory to tall people lol
Yes he should. Especially when you know that CTE was likely a factor. Dave Duersons kids said they would go the other way when they saw him coming because of the frequent violence outburst. People look at tragedies like this and need to find someone to punish. Pro wrestling and the wrestling community needs to see this as an opportunity to make the industry safer for performers. They won't fix everything. And what they do fix wont happen quickly, but erasing superstars won't do a darn thing to make things better.
How the fuck would that even compare to how it was uswd before. Anyone can study another teams signs its on national television and youtube. We have all studied film and see what a player does weeks before a team you play. You still gotta play a team and bleed on the field. If thats the case be better at hidding your signs and know that its in the public eye. If you study a snap count on another tream and kno that the qb wipes his hands for a special play are you not going to figure that out or are you dumb for saying oh i was trying to play honest and not read the back field. If a coach has an attitude of this nature, I can see why Reese is so arrogant. Athletic Department at LUS looks pretty disgusting after this announcement especially after Reese started the entire fight. GOSH! THANKS Coach Stanley.
