I see you got one of the second best rooms (overwater villas are higher priced) at the resort. Looks really nice, but it seems that those category of rooms are mostly booked for anything but August in 2025. Hopefully you will have some more videos from on property.

We are Sandals Diaomond Members and have been visiting their properties for about 20 years now. Royal Caribbean is our favorite. We had gone to South Coast a few times wanting to try a bigger property and really had our usual wonderful time there. The beach is large, food selection is excellent and as usual, the staff first rate. Due to COVID and some health issues we postponed our yearly Sandals visit and decided we didn't want to take that 90 minute comute to SC from Montego Bay Airport so this past January returned to RC. It was well worth it and we realized how much we missed the quaintness of this beautiful property. We stayed in one of the newer rooms with the swim up patios. Great trip as usual!

Caribbean weather is always unpredictable, but I can say that I spend a lot of time on the island during this season and enjoy lots of sun. Jamaicans use the phrase "liquid sunshine", which refers to the rainfall. When the rain falls, it is typically hard and quick and even in the most rainy season, the island averages around 8 hours of sunshine on day historically. @mrtravelux will there be a room tour for the refurbished Long Beach rooms? I’m staying in LB1 end of year and wonder if the reality is as good as online images.
In my mind, the best you can do is the Honeymoon Beachfront Walkout Room at Negril. Talking about convenient to the objective. Among the best price points as well.
@@MrTraveLux You have easy access all day long to your own A/C, refrigerator and more importantly - your private bathroom. Proximity to everything the resort offers as well. Love the old fashioned nature of the Bistro for all day use. The bonus is that moment near sunrise when the color of the sky and the ocean merge - I call it the globe effect - doesn't last long but is really beautiful, and the evening brings the sunset. Perfect.
