The channel was created to concentrate multimedia on the legacy of the Jews of Hadarmout (and Shabwa) In 1950, in the immigration to Israel of "Magic carpet operation" - "Al Kanfe Nesharim" immigrants came from the areas of Hadarmout, Habban, Shabwa and Aden (East Yemmen), which also had a different appearance than the ordinary Yemeni. They were men from the Corps armed with a knife and their long-haired head. (according to Samuel Yavanali, "Journey to Yemen". And settled in Moshav Barket and Salma (West Tel Aviv). The big families are: Matuf, Hilel, Sameach and Mife'e (Madai). The uniqueness and ancient tradition of Habban Jews preserves ancient customs from the Second Temple (Biet Hamikdash) period.

What does this have to do with Habban, besides him being of Habbani Arab descent. He is singing a modern day Hebrew song with no connection to the traditions or customs of the Jews of Yaman.
You obviously do not understand: 1) the words written by King David and 2) their resonance for all Jewish people at this time and 3) Habbani Jews do not have "Arab descent"; they are Jews , descendants of exiled Judeans, whose place of exile was Habban (aka Hadhramaut); this boy is 4th or 5th generation Israeli, get over it, Israel is not going to commit suicide, no matter how jacked that idea makes you feel
@@philliparieff7862 Physiognomies, phenotypes, and genetics don't lie. We don't look like all other Yamanis, and totally different from all other Jews, for no reason. I'm the son of Yamani Jews outside of Israel. Let me show you, through transliteration, how it should be pronounced in our tradition. I will do the first three sentences: Shir Lama'aleuth asoh E'nay al hahorim me'ayin yoveu a'zri. A'zri me'iim hashem, eu'seh shomayim wo'oras. Al yiten lameuTT ragh(Arabic letter ghayn)lakho, al yonum sheumarakho. I have no understanding as to why one would assume that a polemic against an assault on our traditions should be construed as a wish for an end to any single nation on earth. This is absurd. Why is he singing like this. It's absurd and ridiculous. And it has nothing whatsoever to do with our traditions. Next you'll be telling me that the Ethiopians are not really Ethiopians, it's just a coincidence that they look exactly like all other Ethiopians.
@@micolislongis5558 Repeating; this is a contemporary Israeli song in the Hebrew Language; being sung in the Israeli pronunciation. It is not, and does not purport to be, a rendition of traditional Habbani or Teymoni anything. It is an Israeli kid, of Habbani Jewish background singing an Israeli song, full of meaning and feeling for any Hebrew speaker. Any more questions?
@@philliparieff7862 I understand. I'm a Yamani Jew myself born and raised in the UK. It's just that this channel is called "legacy of Habbani Yemeni Jews" and so can be misleading for a casual viewer. I just want people to understand that this rendition is in no way connected with our heritage and traditions.
@@micolislongis5558 Well it is connected , in the limited sense that a Sabra of Habbani background is the singer, but the labeling could be clear that the language heard is Israeli Hebrew, not the traditional havarah of the Habbanim.
