We're a small family from central Illinois bringing you along for our adventures. We've recently gotten into the RV life and have tons of adventures planned, along with how-to videos, tips, and trick while seeing the United States. We're also getting ready to start a fab shop, so we will have projects and how-to's that go along with that. And of course plenty of family antics. Thanks for watching and Enjoy!
I'm doing the same thing in my rv I guess lucky for me I'm a hair shorter I'm glad I found this vid I'm not plumbing back in a p trap like the rest of them il do like u did
I worked at a tv repair place for a year. I now just use a 8 man tent. So many things break on these . Plus insurance, registration, storage, camp spot fees , payment
You might have told us to plug the drain back up first for the new camper owners. Lol I've flooded my path to exit the camper after turning the heater valves on
bout time somebody actually did a video correct. damn. i truly think us whom KNOW construction aspects are a dying breed anymore. everyone thinks they can, but you like myself know. there is the difference.
I like that idea much better! As you don’t lose an extra bed space and gain a lounge sofa area. I like the 17R Model with a bigger bathroom area no bunk beds and but that sofa in instead of a dinette. Thanks for the idea. 💡
I didn't notice anyone mentioning where to mount the speaker outside. There is a connector in the storage bay at the front of the trailer that the sound bar can connect to. Our salesman told us about this. We have the same year and model.
If you use the pump to winterize, is the pump itself full of antifreeze? So when you use the city water connection to de winterize, you’re not actually flushing out the pump? So in the future if you decided to use the pump/tank option you’d have contaminated water? Thanks
Yes the pump will be full of antifreeze, correct on the not flushing of the pump, and its supposedly non toxic but I'm sure it has a terrible taste. You always want to flush out anything that has had antifreeze in it
I agree completely. These are two things you should do right away. They are not that expensive. We got caught in a storm in west Texas with 50 mph straight line winds, The Stabilizer jacks worked great. There is one more thing I would add to the upgrade first list for the 17B- Stare Tire.
Wow. I didn't know when they stopped including spares. The current industry standard for smaller RVs like the 17B or 17R is to not include one. This makes no sense to me.
We are going here shortly and yes, this looks very clean & nice compared to some of the old school style ones along the coast by PCB. I needed to fill in a few nights between state parks and selected this. Laundry was a plus and I waivered between here (dog park) and another RV park (hot tub) and the dog won.
@@SmallFamilyBigDreams are you serious? I saw a couple of places that did that, but didn’t notice anything about that here. That would be amazing (broken bone in my shoulder), but torment to my Labrador retriever 🤣
Thanks for your videos *BIG* Guy! Learning what that darlin' weighs all loaded up will be a *Good* thing. I'm considering a Coleman Lantern 17 series, but she's right on the cusp of being too much for my vehicle to tow. I'll keep an eye out for your video regarding weight. 🙏🦉
I thought about lowering my shower later but first I had to seal the floor because mice were entering through the large hole under my shower. It is ridiculous how big of a hole that was drilled under the shower pan to allow access for varmits. I sealed it with steel wool and expanding foam.
I have the same issue with hanging out in the skylight! I'm going to check out the plumbing issue under mine and see if lowering it is an option. I originally was looking for tips to paint the yellowed walls but now thanks to this video, looks like were going in deeper with new plumbing and walls! Thanks.... I think :)
TY. I'm looking to buy rv in the next month or 2 tops a d my first thought is the dinette seating will go because i need a desk area instead. I'm buying used but i still didnt wanna make a mess of the project. This was very helpful.
Do you know where I can get the original bench and table? When I purchased my 2022 Coleman. Travel camper the had taken it out and left only one bench. Any suggestions would be appreciated
