My husband's uncle was serving on this ship! And one of the pictures may be him!! Unfortunately, he passed away at age 19 from illness so my husband never got to meet his uncle. Hi, I used tamya clear blu with Tamiya X-20A, but it stripped off the layers of Tamya sea blue that i have used before (I also use Tamia fine surface primer). Do you know the reason? How many hours I have to wait before to use clear color or Tamya x22 with brush (I waithed 5 hours)? Thank you
No niestety ciągle brak czasu (przynajmniej tyle ile bym chciał)... ale jestem dobrej myśli😀 napisałeś ten komentarz w dobrym momencie bo jest szansa, że kolejny odcinek z Merkavy wpadnie do końca miesiąca na kanał... co dalej to się jeszcze okaże, pomysłów mam wiele🙂... na razie będę zadowolony jak uda mi się skończyć obecny projekt... Fajna budowa własnie skonczyłem wszystkie części , może sie na niego skuszę do tej pory nie sklejalem okrętów. Na jedna rzecz zwróciłem uwagę, ja uzywam tamiya farb i podobnie rozcienczam jak Ty , ale strasznie duże ciśnienie dajesz 1,5 bara na taką odległość mocno śmierdzi podczas malowania to przedewszystkim Spoko film ,pozdrawiam
Dzięki za pozytywny komentarz😀 polecam zdecydowanie jakiś okręt zmajstrować🙂 co do ciśnienia to pewnie masz rację, aż tak duże ciśnienie nie jest potrzebne… pozdrawiam serdecznie 😃
I just finished my I-400 (Just have some touch up painting to do) and I used your build guide for half my build. Your build is better by far but I am still learning and I don't think its as bad as I think it is!
Dzięki! :) olinowanie firmy Ammo by mig. Z tego co pamiętam używałem wersji "fine", czyli .03mm. Przy tej skali dzisiaj użyłbym "super fine", czyli .01 mm :)
@@littlesailor My pleasure.... I am building a harbor scene in HO 1/87 scale. I will be trying Mod Podge for the first time today. I have never used it before. The Gloss Medium I used shows too many brush strokes so hoping the Mod Podge small ripples will hide the brush strokes. Philip
I have acquired but not built a flyhawk kit. They appear much more detailed than other manufacturers. Some say the plastic is softer and requires careful handling.
I tend to agree with this opinion🙂 the quality and quantity of details is a big advantage... the plastic is probably softer, but it's easy to get used to... I really like Flyhawk models😀
This is a terrible kit. I am a big fan of Meng products, but they really dropped the ball on this one. I truly wish that either, Meng, Takom, Border Models to tool a brand new Merkava Mk.3D LIC.
Za to dokręcanie kombinerkami i taśmę teleflonową powinieneś dostać bana na RU-vid żeby nie uczyć młodego pokolenia niszczenia sprzętu. Po pierwsze gdybyś użył klucza nie musiałbyś wciskać tam taśmy. Poza tym po to jest oring w wężu żeby zamknąć połączenie bo uszczelka przychodzi od czoła do gwintu , tam nie ma prawa nic się rozszczelnić. Jak już coś robisz to zrób to starannie , przygotuj się , weź klucz...
Masz rację, że kluczem byłoby zgodnie ze sztuką i bezpieczniej ale myślę, że to kwestia wyczucia i kombinerkami też krzywdy nie zrobiłem… co do taśmy teflonowej to czytałem sporo komentarzy, że jednak potrafi się rozszczelnić, więc stwierdziłem, że nie zaszkodzi. Pozdrawiam!

have they tried calling a 14 yr old a CHILD !!! ( Also beware , when you have click-fitted parts , you may not be able to pull them apart.....................without breakage !)

Great job! One way to avoid bubbles -- well, two ways -- is to blow them out with a straw while still wet, or you can use a hairdryer on low/no heat setting... 😀
Nigdy nie miałem z tym problemów. Być może przy bardzo długim, ciągłym malowaniu zacząłby się grzać ale na moje potrzeby modelarskie w zupełności wystarczy.
It's quite simple. I used Vallejo - still water or Vallejo - water texture to do it. You just have to put a thin layer on a foil and after it dries it's very easy to remove🙂

Travail de haute volee. J'adore. Un regal pour les yeux. J'aime aussi ton utilisation de la mig ultra glue. Colle dont je ne peux plus me passer. Par contre je ne savais pas qu'elle etait bonne aussi pour coller les fils de lycra. A la prochaine
Thanks a lot for your nice comment!🙂 Personally, I really like using Ultra Glue and highly recommend it. I regret that I currently have a long break in scale-modeling. Unfortunately, it will last a few more months, but I can't wait to get back to the table. Cheers!😀

Thanks🙂 Unfortunately, it will be difficult for me to complete the Merkava this year for private and business reasons. Next episode will probably not be released until the new year 😑
