@@carlosordo8777 In January. It is cool for Taiwanese people in January, but if you are from a cold climate, January weather in Taiwan will feel nice for you.
My husband is planning a 4 Rivers Bike Tour in May, and your RU-vid clips have been incredibly helpful in preparing for it. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
Stopped at same stamp kiosk/restaurant on 6:45. Ordered dumplings (delicious) and a coffee (mocha?) and then someone (or the owner) bought me Korean ramen on top of that. Was so nice, But I was embarrassed that I couldn't finish it. Doing so I wouldn't be able to cycle to my next stop. I went backwards from Seoul to Busan. The Bicycle infrastructure in South Korea is amazing. Logistics easy with Korean combini everywhere.
Great series of videos. I am doing this trip in May. Do you have any advice on how to get my bike (and me) from Busan back to Seoul on the train or bus???
I took took the bus back from Busan to Seoul. There is storage underneath the bus and you can put your bike there. There were very few people on the bus so the storage space was empty. I wanted to take the train but when my (Korean) wife did research, she found that either recently bikes were not being aloud on trains of they had to be broken down and put in a bag/box during transit. Are you bringing a bike from home or renting in Seoul?
You do a superb job at taking video! very high quality! I was wondering if you know around what time of year rabbit lake thaws and is available for fishing? I'm planning a trip around the end of May. The beginning of june and am looking for input from locals
Hard to say exactly, every year is slightly different. Rabbit Lake is in the alpine area above 2,000 ft, so it thaws later than the lakes in Anchorage. I would expect by the beginning of June you would see some water (and some ice still possibly).
this is jaw dropping beautiful omg .... thanks for going there, thanks for filming this, and thanks for filming this and editing it so beautifully. thanks again.
No, but I probably should get one. Maybe when I do the East Coast route. Thanks to you, I knew about the medal. That's why I mentioned it in the video.
You didn't take enough shots thru the ice. Kinda skipped over the beauty of it for shots of ice skating. I'd a had the camera pointed down most the time
The temperature the day I visited was a few degrees above zero. The challenge of visiting is the time period for skating is possibly very short. The lake needs to freeze properly and you need to get there before the snow falls. You have the chance to see bears anywhere in Alaska. Usually in winter the bears are in torpor.
I was looking forward to seeing something revealing about riding your bike with this gadget like for example putting it on your helmet or testing it to some degree but it’s a basically and unboxing and a testing it on the most desirable surface is glass in your office do you have a follow video on us were you actually doing it testing it out
In my experience the Tenikle 360 would not work to hold a GoPro during action filming (for example, while riding a bike). It is really meant to hold a phone. But it will work to hold a GoPro when used as a tripod. So I have used it in filming during cycling or hiking videos, but only as a tripod.
I didn't measure the ice while I was there on October 25th but all parts of the lake were completely solid. There were many people skating and it had been measured by someone in the Nordic Skating FB group a couple days before at at least 4 inches. I don't know what the weather has been like up at Rabbit Lake this week, but i suspect there were warmer temperatures. It is always a good idea to check the Nordic Skating Facebook groups to check if anyone has been up there recently. And today it snowed in Anchorage and I'm not sure if there was snow in the mountains.
Stumbled upon your channel and was thrilled to see you're from Anchorage, Alaska! We're doing Alaskan pet owner content too. Just subscribed. Mind returning the love?
