Hi friends! We’re Landon and Kenz, and we're so glad you've found your way to our little corner of the internet! We’re trying to grow our channel, so we would love you forever if you subscribed 🫶🏼
We love adventure, whether it’s traveling somewhere we’ve never been before, exploring our own city and state, or spending time with family & friends. We currently live in Dallas, Texas and both have full-time jobs working for a church. We both love our jobs, but since we only get a certain number of vacation days a year, our international travel is obviously limited. However, we try to make it happen as much as possible! Our goal is to make you feel like you are experiencing some of the fun with us, and we really hope you enjoy it! At the end of the day, our channel is going to be a collection of our best and favorite memories, so thanks for coming along! As you know with Landon & Kenz, we’re never finished traveling ✈️
@@landonandkenz oh no I’m just saying it’s good seeing the positive energy and good vibes all around but yea looking forward to trying some of the Pixar foods soon
@@landonandkenz hard to say the lobster nacho in lamplight lounge is good but I also do enjoy the cosmic orb over at the guardian of the galaxy snack cart it’s a nice sweet treat but I also really enjoy the schwarma that is definitely I nice lunch pick me up food
Disneyland!!! Now you're somewhere I used to know... A family tradition since it's opening when they used a/b/c/d/e tickets & it was extremely inexpensive. I'll ask my children what they think about the Lamplight. My being a vegetarian, is difficult but not impossible to find food. Enjoy!!
@@landonandkenz ahhhhh rollercoasters!! They've not responded yet, but I can tell you Knott's Berry Farm down the street imho is a much more pleasant experience (I think they prefer Knott's these days as do a lot of locals), not near as crowded, and really fun.
Very interesting video. Writing as an enthusiast for Swiss public transport, I am told that taking this sledge run SLOWLY is a great outing if you want to study/film the highly intricate railway line between Bergun and Preda.
I strongly agree with your comments about the Swiss Travel Pass. And what you did on the day of filming demonstrates another advantage of the STP. You can at any time change your mind as to where you are going to go. On my visits to Switzerland, I am constantly doing that!
I visit Switzerland almost every year, travelling around using a Swiss Travel Pass. I have never used the modern luxury Glacier Express, The crucial point is made by another commentator. 'Normal passenger train would have given you the same views.' I would add that the 'normal trains' run hourly and do not require reservations. And you can break up the journey into much shorter stages. Eg Zermatt=Brig; Brig-Andermatt; Andermatt-Disentis; Disentis=Chur; Chur-St Moritz.
We completely agree! We think if you’re traveling all over Switzerland by train, it might be best to skip the Glacier Express. You said you visit Switzerland almost every year??? Where are you from?
@@landonandkenz Nottingham. England. I go for a combination of three reasons. Firstly the magnificent scenery and (if the weather is bad) the historic unspoilt cities. Secondly the astonishingly good public transport In particular the Taktfahrplan .with all major public transport routes running at least hourly 365-day-a-year, and timed to connect with each other. Thirdly the Swiss Travel Pass, which (as you know) gives unlimited free travel on that public transport system.
@@landonandkenz Berne. Deservedly a Unesco World Heritage Site. Also a very compact city, You can stand on the terrace in front of the Swiss Parliament and see green fields not that far distant!
Just cane from Switzerland. Gl acer express complete waste of money. First it is not an express train it stopped several times.. Second the food was poor. Service was slow. Definitely overrated. Normal passenger train would gave given you the same views. Waste of money.
@@landonandkenzno not sledding, but skiing in Colorado for a couple seasons.in the late1970's... I'd fall rather than go too fast, cross country I loved. Sledding is about my speed although my snowboots would probably wear out pretty fast from skidding to slow down.😆
Did you book a tour through the cruise line or did you do all of this one your own. Contemplating whether to book tours at Santorini and Mykonos for our cruise in August.
In Mykonos, we did all of this on our own, but in Santorini we booked a private tour guide for the day. Be sure to check out our Santorini vlog if you haven’t yet. Are you going on a cruise soon? 🚢
Totally worth it! I did this train with A group back in '19. He shouldn't have been on his laptop at all! He'd miss all the great scenery then. Should be taking lots of pictures.
Hahaha yes, I deserve the shame 😂 But it was a LONG ride. I did enjoy the scenery though. Extremely beautiful. Did you get any good pictures or videos? 📸
Hello, I just subscribed to your youtube channel. Your content is really great, but you didn't optimize your video, if you optimize your video will rank. If you want I can help you to grow your channel as well as SEO ranking.
I just saw the most incredible northern lights from Minnesota a few nights ago. They were caused by the strongest geomagnetic storm since 2003, an extreme G5 storm. From dusk till dawn, the entire sky was ablaze in green, red, blue, pink, purple, and even more colors visible to the naked eye, at times getting bright enough to be seen in the middle of the Twin Cities. It looked like a portal to another dimension was opening up overhead. The storm got strong enough at times the northern lights showed up in Hawaii. This occurred the night before I was gonna leave, so I feel blessed to have seen such a jaw-dropping show like that.
@@landonandkenz I actually enjoy hunting for the aurora in Minnesota and this was around my 25th time seeing the lights, but this was by far the best show I've seen. My mom was with me for my college graduation and this incredible show was her first one. The timing of this storm couldn't be more perfect. I hope you get a chance to see a crazy show like that sometime!
@@landonandkenzI went to Iceland for a few days a few years ago and saw them twice, and I also saw it once from an airplane flying over Northern Canada! However, those instances the lights were quite weak and they only appeared grayish without much movement, only appearing green in pictures, since I went during very quiet activity near solar minimum. There should be more opportunities to witness extremely strong auroras since we are now in solar maximum, the peak of activity during the sun's 11 year solar cycle. I'm planning a trip to Alaska later this year to try and see them again!
Oh wow! We want to plan a trip to Alaska too! Be sure to check out our Iceland vlog. We went in May so we didn’t see the northern lights, but Iceland is one of our favorite places we’ve ever been. What time of year did you go to Iceland? 🇮🇸
Just curious! We loved the conveniency of public transportation in Switzerland. Nothing like it outside of big cities in the US. Where are you originally from?
@@landonandkenz if you take her to Victoria, you have to take her to her to the Empress hotel and do afternoon tea. It’s worth it. But you should dress casual for that.
@@landonandkenz nope. I do remember eating at A little sandwich shop for lunch one day though. I don’t remember the name of the restaurant we had A group dinner at. It was within walking distance of our hotel though.
