lol, mar-ga-ree, not Marj-a-ree :) great video BTW. Middle river is one of my favorite places to fish. I met Paddy and his brother Steven on River Deny's one morning (never having met either before) got talking and turns out they are related to my spouses family who are from CB, ended up fishing with them for a few hours, great guys.
My friend Exelent video. I recently bought a 1022 rifle and it’s exelente. Now, I would like 👍 if you now zero your Ruger 1022 at 50 yards then check what is the previous zero , I think it’s better than zeroing at 25. Please make another video from 50 yards. Ahhh let us know wich ammo your are using. Thanks.
25 and 50 zero the differences in ballistic chart are negligible when shooting under 100yds with these cheap bulk rounds. I’ve done both but yes, regarding the 50 zero that is what I use on my other rifles for competition shooting and with diff better match grade ammo.
Just got a Axis II SR .308 FDE with a 18.5 threaded barrel. It's my first bolt action rifle. With the heavy barrel and all the features and price point of $378 it was a no brainer.
Bonjour, chasse magnifique, j'adore ! Je suis chasseur moi même, j'habite à l ile de la reunion département français, chez nous on cuisine au massalé ou bien en civet ! Magnifique !
Awesome video guys. I’m just now exploring getting competitive shooting outside of IDPA and want to do rimfire, but not much knowledge on where to start. This was very helpful.
If I was one of the shooters, I'd tell the other to get out of the truck and stay away from it-- the shock of your heartbeat or even walking up an touching the truck (as was done) will send vibrations that will interfere with the shot. 200 yard egg shot... was done at 300 yards by Arizona Long Range shooters club with same charity idea. It's amazing how well many people can shoot a .22. One girl-- Kirsten Joy Weiss-- did it off hand (unsupported standing) at 300.
Great video! I always appreciate someone doing videos on Rimfire stuff that are informative because there is such little out there and it’s growing. As far as the rifles go I tell everyone to NOT buy the Savage. It’s a good gun but the feeding issues are horrible. Some people don’t have them but a lot of people do. Mine has F’d me at some NRL22 matches and I’ve seen it happen to others as well. Forums are full of the complaint. I actually did a 30 second short video review that’s on my page about it. Great video though and I appreciate it! I’ll be forwarding it to some friends. Keep up the good work.
Hey don’t sweat it. I missed my only chance at a Tom last year because I was impatient. As for your situation I would have done the same thing. Here’s why, Your on public land with limited time. Once that turkey is in the bush you’ll never see him again. Was it the right call? I can’t say forsure, but I do know I would have tried the same thing.
It's decent. I have a few of them and my biggest gripe is the red dot flickers when you move too fast. Gets annoying over time. Especially when my higher end red dots don't do it
