It will be very odd for an elevator manufacturer to not feature Changi Airport on their portfolio. For Otis the only possibility is a Gen2 Robusta, but it doesn't sound like one either.
Additional unit installed during the terminal's upgrading works in 2003-2005. The project was once mentioned on one of ThyssenKrupp's Asia Pacific newsletters.
Nice fixtures! In Australia, we only have Green or Red Schindler D8 buttons & a D-line indicator (unless the buildings decide to install LCD indicators). The chime is also very nice and roof views of the elevator shag is extremely cool! This is probably one of the nicest lifts in Singapore! Very nice lift your video!
Still kinda disappointing to see that they've replaced the Elevonic 411Ms but at least the new elevators look rather nice. Wonder if the service elevators are still there...
I believe there is 2 Indolift elevators left there. Lift 4 and Lift 5. I believe that Lift 8 is now already demolished since i didn’t find that elevator. I only found lift 5 which appears to be refurbished with generic fixtures which sucks. I didn’t find lift 4 but I was told by IDL3K that lift 4 is still original by the loud distinctive brake sound in this video.
@@IndonesianElevatorFilmer yeah the elevator in B3M located between B2 and B3 (basement 2 and basement 3 respectively) for the one who park their Cars in B2 or B3 if you park in B2 you go downstairs to the elevator if you are park in B3 you go upstairs
Gen2 Premier actually, because the GeN2-Regen has been discontinued. Fyi the easiest way to compare the two model is by the way the arrow changes direction; on Gen2 Premier it changes just as the number changes, and on GeN2-Regen it changes after the door has opened.
There are two abandoned vintage OTIS with black buttons somewhere in this hospital. Those are the last known remaining vintage OTIS black buttons in Indonesia other than the derelict CTC Building in Senen.
Except Lift 1 and 2 which the latter has been modernized by Tamiang (they're LEHY-II and not MRLs), all the SM elevators are simply LEHY-MRL. No official names are known for the fixtures.
Seems like the service elevator next to this one is still original as I heard some loud "tap" noise, something distinctive to older Indolift elevators.
@@IndonesianElevatorFilmer IIRC yes. Just go into that door next to Lift 3, the service elevator is inside there. I don't know if there are still remains of the old door and fixtures from the old Lift 3 in there, as the old Indolift used to open into the service area before its rear door was completely decommissioned. Who knows the old doors are still there. Also I find it strange how the 2nd floor is locked here, even though it's actually the main floor.
If you’re talking about the elevator i rode which is lift 3, i think the button is burnt out. Because when i press the button again, the arrows shows up.
The reason why it doesn't stop at 1 is because for some reason there's no elevator door on that floor facing the guestroom corridor since the beginning. The Indolift did stop at 1 but only at the back which leads to a staff area; the rear door had since been decommissioned and all the buttons had been taken out.
