Certainly looks good. But I'm wondering if there'll be subtitles so that Patrick White's wonderful prose will be comprehended. In this preview vid the text is muffled and poorly enunciated.
If I'd been looking out on Australia's sand from my bedroom window, perhaps I wouldn't have found it so barren as Butte's. I'll be listening, trying to hear what you do with what I left behind for you.
Kudos for helping keep the memory of the madly brilliant Mary MacLane alive. She was the Patti Smith of 1902 -- and, as you say, VERY relevant to now. I wish you could post some video of your production.
So disappointing. Came down from Sydney to see it. The plot didn't know if it was a comedy or a tragedy. The cast did not achieve anywhere NEAR the intensity of violence the material deserved. And the farce of that ridiculous mouse costume that had everyone in stitches completely washed away any compassion you felt for Else. A real mishmesh. She was either possessed or she wasn't. Don't clarify it. *sigh*
