Guardo questa opera teatrale solo perché mi piace l'Iliade e questa opera ne è "il sequel" poiché Agamennone viene ucciso dopo essere tornato da Troia ma sinceramente sta roba è una chiavica . È troppo retrogrado tutto questo Ma l'argomento mi piace sia chiaro

Maravillosa interpretacion ,he visto muchas versiones de esta escena y esta por lejos es la mejor, la voz de ella es sobervia ,actua muy bien y la musica celestial ,reconforta el alma
It's so sad that Lucia Valentini Terrani passed right at the very height of her fame as did many other great opera singers like Kartkeen Ferrier, Lucia Popp, Tatiana Tryanos, Daniella Dessi and several others. They all had great careers and were justly famous but they were not able to complete a full career. That's the sad thing! May you all rest in peace.

Elle fait les notes ,c'est certain .Cependant les notes sur aiguës n'ont pas une belle sonorité et ressemblent plus à fes miaulements .Cela n'enlève en rien à l'art du chant de cette grande cantatrice qui savait parfaitement tenir la ligne de chant dans des ouvrages du bel canto ( Straniera !❤).
Yeah, the voice is light, and the top was always iffy. But I think this is really exciting singing. Great attention to detail, and great sense of momentum. She knew what she was doing. I would agree though that this should have been as heavy as she went, rather than the start of a new dramatic career.
As effective as La Luce Langue is, it sounds like something from Aïda, which is both a pro and a con; it is a massive musical non-sequitir from the stylistically evolving Verdi. THIS aria is an awfully hearty bel-canto romp, but it fits in better with the scheme of things (musically, at least). And what FUN it is to hear!! If this aria were kept by Verdi, then Macbeth would STILL be considered one of Verdi's best. And Mrs. Hunter ROCKS it!
