I'm not one that ever bought into 'ships'- especially not Larry! However, more recently, through missing 1D, i've been watching more videos and noticed just how close Z&H were, even noticing how they touched each other so intimately. Z stroking H inner thigh for instance - WHAT? Or the way Z held H by the neck and looked deep into his eyes... I think this was a love that started with them having group sex (the leaked calls from girls on the way to their hotel) into them experimenting with each other. Anyway, at 39, I've seen a lot of obvious signs of affection in my time and I will put money on the fact these two now "talk" through their songs. Everything from their titles to their lyrics are interlinked. I hope that one day, they get to be their true selves because this was H longest & most successful relationship - that says everything to me. Management have a lot to answer for. They fucked the boys up in so many ways. I, for one, hope that IF we're ever lucky enough to get a reunion, the lads do it on THEIR terms.
I 100% agree. I stumbled unto Zarry in a similar way 3 years ago while watching 1D vids and since it’s impossible to watch anything related to 1D without coming across the ships I first stumbled across Larry (which didn’t feel real to me pretty much right away) and then across Zarry. I was hesitant to believe there is any truth to it at first but there was something about their subtle interactions and body language that seemed different and intimate and so I delved deeper and pretty much fell into the rabbit hole that is the Zarry fandom. Knowing what I know now - how LOUD they were at times (like H turning to Z while singing “I’m in love with you” in LT in 2014/2015 and Z, expecting it, looking back at him, making eye contact and pushing his earpiece further into his ear in response) - I don’t understand how people can simply ignore this. It’s just mind blowing to me that anyone would deny this or write it off as coincidence… It’s realizing that H regularly used to do emotional stuff like this (Z did too but he was usually a bit more subtle) that led me to realize that he expressed his grief over Z’s departure through lyric drops and tattoo kisses among other things… Your theory about how they came to be sums it up pretty well: group sex led to experimenting with each other which led to lust and then later love… It is so obvious that Z and H talk through their songs and I find it astonishing that there aren’t more people who have picked up on it or that there are even people denying it. You don’t even need to analyze their lyrics to see parallels… Hopefully they’ll manage to work things out and be their true selves one day because I fear that they will be restless until they do. Even with all the difficult circumstances surrounding them, they always seemed happiest and most at peace during the time periods when there were strong hints that they were together.

while I agree that Zayn broke Harry profoundly when he left, I think we can still see what we want to see when looking at these videos. Harry has significant breathing /health issues that are complicated by stress and overwork... as we have seen since he was sixteen. I am constantly concerned and impressed with what he accomplishes...how hard he works to give his fans the purest expression of his gifts. I appreciate these symbolic possibilities but it's more practical that Zayn's powerful loss manifested in exacerbating H's fragile health making breathing more difficult, coughing more constant, and breathlessness, gasping/dropping words more likely. H was unhinged without Z and its devastating watch.
