this is essentially for me to do funny, lighthearted stuff. whether that is skits, sketches, commentary, or edited down livestreams. we'll see as we go along... together?
I love hearing people claim that most of the Minecraft playerbase is kids, and so there's no issues with the movie. Its literally just a simple search away. 43% of players, almost half, are ages 15 to 21. So teens and young adults. NOT children. 21% are 22-30 years old, and 15% are 30 to 65 years old. You know what the minority in the fanbase is? 20% of players are below the age of fifteen. That's a whopping 79% of the known playerbase Warner Bros decided to spit in the face of. Did anyone in the studio even bother to figure this out before flaming adult fans for wanting a say in the matter?
I think the main problem is not that this movie is not good - it's that it's not minecraft. It looks like it's made by people who haven't played minecraft and treat it like a silly little block game for children. They're just here to make fun of the game, and not say anything good about it. They're not making a minecraft movie, they're using the name of the most popular videogame to sell their mediocre trash. I'd say pretty big percentage of minecraft players are not children. Like, what was the most popular thing about minecraft recently that had a story? I think it was dream smp, and for all the flaws and controversies with some of its members, the plot was actually fun, and it wasn't made as if all the people watching it are stupid. There is a parallel universe where Notch didn't backtrack and let Corridor Digital make the minecraft movie. And we better start building a portal to that universe
My question is, why tf would you still use Alt/Tab? If you game and alt tab to another screen it can sometimes lag you out of your game entirely. The windows key is so much easier and simpler and never had an issue dc'ing from a game when using it. Keep doing you
its been literal years since ive played a game with alt/tab crash issues. also if your game is set to borderless windowed (as all should be in 2024), alt/tab is quite seamless, especially if youve got two monitors.
The clip is a joke. But in real life, the oldest 5th grader (so elementary school) is 11 and the youngest 9th grader (aka high school) is 14. So yes, it is a bit weird When you are 14, you have matured much more than an 11 year old. So it is weird It’s the whole “Divide by 2, then add 7” rule. It doesn’t even work for when you’re that young
