What’s up everyone, my name is Hunter with Kayak Georgia and this channel is a reminder to have fun, get outdoors and enjoy what Mother Nature has for us.
Nothing too serious, nothing too flashy. Just having a good time and showing you a few items, tips and tricks I pick up along the way.
Most of what you’ll see are videos of my kayaking & camping trips and interesting things that I saw, local outfitters, reviews of certain products that I bought and found helpful to me on the water and off, as well as a few diy projects to help make life a little easier. Also, really enjoy history and will be sharing some of what I learned about the locations that I travel to.
Hope you enjoy and remember to share your knowledge as far as it can go!
That was one hell of a ride. Glad your OK. I just swam at Pillow rock from out of a raft. Went so deep and got so disoriented. I love the humbling feeling you are handed every time you go swimming. Love your vids! Keep ‘em coming
@@1shawnob thank you bro! She worked so hard to get there before the end of the year! Wont be able to paddle for another two months now and wanted to get it in before her surgery!
@@jrodriguez7030 it was definitely a special experience and something I don’t believe we have done together before in the whole time we’ve been together!
We were always taught that if you capsize, use the inside of the boat for air before you come right out so you can take a second to calm the panic before you rescue yourself
@@GodMajik most definitely! And for any type of kayaking the best way to practice is in a controlled environment like flat water in order to build confidence and familiarity.
@@edsonjavierrr 🤣🤣🤣 I couldn’t figure out for the longest time how not to get chundered by the eddyline afterwards like in this video! If I boof and then drop my left edge in the air it will drop right down in the current and keep going now🫵🏽🔥😎
Built in the worst place imaginable Montgomery aka the Gump... be careful on your way to & from this place... surrounded my low income and high crime...
@@b2bgood870 thank you for voiding your original statement with your second... Everyday someone is murdered in Montgomery... You are correct, everywhere in Montgomery...
Me and my buddies would go down a 5 mile or so stretch in kayaks on the Black Warrior. No idea how to tell you how to get there but its got a waterfall about 10 ft or so depending on the water level. Alabama has a lot of great paddlin' spots. But I do feel sorry for the rafters. It looks like they're trying to ride a schoolbus down the river.
