Wow, super helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for this video. As a first time bear hunter, this gives me the confidence I need to learn as I go with hopefully caping my first bear this year.
You do realize that some people hunt for their food right? Sad for you if you think everyone shops at a grocery store. These guys are out working hard and enjoying the great outdoors! You’re sitting behind your phone screen judging others and being a keyboard warrior… which one is really sad? 😂
Hi Eric, thanks for reaching out. We are transitioning out of TV at this time. We will be still creating some content for the page here this fall but at a smaller capacity. Also we will be releasing our last seasons aired content soon!
I saw some pics online of some kid who hunted one of the very few Mt. Goats remaining in the Elaho Valley. I 'm not sure in any way how hunting Mountain Goats is ethical in the Sea to Sky region.
Not anymore a Man in North Carolina killed one with a Bow that was 780 lbs. We'll all know in a another month or two after the skull drying out process.
Nice to see someone who still does the old fashioned way of field dressing! I'm an oldtimer and all the video's I see now are people doing to gutless field dressing method. I'm not opposed to the gutless method but after doing 60-70 animals, I'm too old to change!
My brother in law got a mountain goat draw this hunting season in BC. He said it was one of the hardest hunts he has ever done, a week of INTENSE hiking in terrain not a lot of humans can manage. He was successful and the meat was some of the best wild game I have ever tried! Mad respect and gratitude for these majestic animals.
Wow awesome, thanks for commenting! Congrats on the successful hunt! Yes it’s a very tough hunt for sure. Scouting the areas before hand can pay off huge!
Thanks for this comment! It truly is beautiful and also a once in a lifetime hunt for sure! They are truly majestic animals that live in the toughest environments. They are also sensitive to harvest in many areas which is why this was a hunt that required a special lottery draw. These goats are very well protected from over harvest which keeps the population healthy! Cheers
How are chunks going to come out with 1 BH shot! You guys saying these target are ok to shoot BH’s into are Full of Pooh. There is no target that is good to last any time against the onslaught of target, field, or BH points. DIY stuff is better.
There’s never a target that will fully withstand broadhead blades forever. This target in this video is still stopping my arrows 4 seasons later. Yea it’s beat up but for the money spent and time saved on building my own. You can’t beat it. If you’ve got something superior, I’d love to see it! Always looking for a great target!
