Hello and hope you reach this page while in good health. This page is mostly full of my Remote Control Hobby enjoying a fun and clean past time. I don't particular need any monies for any of my videos, just sharing my fun there and nothing more. I try not to hide any mishaps so, everyone can learn from them as I have learned myself from them. Thank you for visiting and enjoy those videos that you might find fun to watch. I am not a professional editor so, excuse for the lack of editing on some. Hope you enjoy my content. Thanks and stay safe. Carlos
You coulda gone 20 to 25mph slower with flaps down without stalling i have that same jet and itll come to a slow crawl no problem what so ever dont be affraid it wont bite ya
That Second Landing was as light as butter Carlos with your 3 Channel Hobbico Super Star😂 I enjoy the simplicity of these 3 Channel RC Airplanes and that they are just relaxing to fly without the need of Racing Speed as I am comfortable with Slow Flight and Scale Like Flight. I seen a Review of this Hobbico Super Star in Fly RC Magazine about 20 Years ago. I have a Foam Ares Gamma Trainer 3 Channel that I changed out the Stock 370 Brushed motor for the E-flite 370 Brushless motor 1250 Kv paired with the Parkzone 8.25 x 5.5 Propeller and I truly love this Basic RC Airplane and I have had a few of them over the past several years with the same Power Upgrades as well and using a 3s 1300 mAh lipo battery. Happy RC Flying Carlos and I thoroughly enjoyed this video 😊💯🛩👍
Great video! I just picked up one of these kits. I had been thinking an e-flite power 90 would work… is it sluggish with the power 60? Thanks for the video!
Hi Carlos. I bought 2 of them a 1 year ago on ebay y pay so much but no regrets about it, and i build one and is the best of the best. Congratulations 😊 because never you going to get a better plane like this. Handle with care and enjoy it, you can use it like trainner, glider or 3D also performs amaizing. never sale it, bescause you never going to find something like this beutifull rc. Good luck 😊 And share more videos with this lady in red❤
If I recall, this model came with a very flimsy GPS system that many had their models fly away. Therefore, my buddy took it out and I placed a regular receiver without any GPS. It flew great and didn't fly away.
@@guapoman2000 Looks like your video post was made in 2018 (some 6 years ago), so hopefully the GPS modules are better now? Yeah everyone says "the plane flies great without the GPS". BUT some of us very newbie pilots with lousy eyesight would REALLY like to have a GPS function to save our butts!...lol
Nice job. I have not found one single bad habit with this model even with very slow flight. It reminds me very much of my EFlite 1.2m P-51 in the way it flies and the PC9 has no gyro.
E-Flite 60 (400Kv) really does great, just great. Watch the power increase during take-off and keep the model straight at least until the tail comes up!
hahaha just saw the credits at the end with details, question its says 5 cell, i dont know much about electrics can i fly the rimfire 80 with 5 cells? or do i need 6 cells.
Hi Carlos, i have just one like it, new hanging on the hangar, no flughts yet its been stiing there for lack of retract servos, some day will get able to buy them. and dont want to fly it with fix gear.
good job! the kit is still available? amazing. very long ago, I built 2. 1st from the kit, to learn. 2nd from scratch, to build it properly and bigger. the 2nd was a far better flier. never used a motor. always used a launch, then soared for hours on thermals.
Greetings from New Mexico. Nice electric adaptation, and seeing you fly it brings back memories. My Gentle Lady story happened in 2003 at the White Rock overlook to the Rio Grande, a four hundred-foot / 130-meter deep gorge lined with towering black basalt. Good conditions had this rudder-elevator glider bungee launching into high, long-duration flights. Imagine another mostly yellow, transparent film-covered glider but with magenta, green, and blue accents on the wingtips, leading edge, and tail. I must have gotten greedy, because even after a couple hours of building conditions, I didn't take notice of the cumulo-nimbus cloud system behind me, over the town of Los Alamos. Rather suddenly the glider stopped making forward progress, then began flying backward, and no amount of diving could bring her home. Last sight was a tumbling climb, out of RC range, disappearing into the vast Jemez mountains. Never found. An easy to build, sweet flying old design.
I had the Electra, a sister ship of the GL beefed up a little bit for hauling a seven-cell nicad pack. it flew as nice as your GL and I had many hours of fun with it. Instead of a throttle, mine had a lever switch on/off for the motor with a smaller third servo to drive that. Big folding prop, would have gone bigger if I could get a gearbox, but that never happened. These old kits can perform amazingly well with lighter new radio and power systems.
Reliability of this LG Electronics (Electric) dryer has been very good and this is the very first time I disassemble it to repair the Heating Element. So, yes, it is a very good Engineered dryer.
