This is helping me a lot! One thing to ask is that, I co-registered my T1 to EPI image, unlike what you did (EPI to T1). So, I thought my deformation file contains information transforming T1 to EPI. If that's the case, how is it used for normalization? Since, normalization warps EPI to MNI, isn't the deformation info. for T1 to EPI unnecessary?
Hey, I am glad this helped you. TO answer your question, the co-registeration does not create the deformation field. Segmentation creates the deformation field. Since segmentation is always done on the anatomical image, the defomation field is always from anatomical space to MNI space, hence co-registeration of the EPI and anatomical T1 image is important. So if you have updated your ds160, your appointment confirmation has the new ds160 confirmation number, then you dont need to do anything else. Ypu may bring both the ds160 for the interview .. but if the new 160 number is updated everywhere it is fine.
@@pratikian in appointment confirmation ds 160 number is of old one. I have already took the appointment from the old ds 160 number. Since I have deferred the admission I have to do some minor changes in ds160
It is near the US counsulate. I am no sure, but I dont think you can keep luggage there. Only small things like mobile and wallet only can be kept there. But I am not completely sure, you may cross check this with someone.

That depends on the number of people who have got the same slot. Mine took about half an hour. But i would recommend to keep enough time. Atleast 1 hour.

Hi Pratik, Typically how much time the VAC process takes, assuming all documentation is clean? I got the same day appointment for VAC and Consular. VAC is at 8am and Consular at 10am. I just wanted to know from your experience if the 2 hours gap between VAC and consular is good enough assuming a smooth process at VAC.
So it acctually depends on how many people are there that have got the appointment at the same time. I would say the max time should be 1 hour. But if possible ... i would reccomend to not scchedule the biometric and interview at the same day... as sometimes you never know what may happen... so if possible ... i would reccomend to reschule such that the interview and biometric are on different days!

@@pratikian student visa M1. Also I made my medical on the month of July because I was scheduled to join on January 2024 for my vacational studies. But because I couldn't schedule my Visa appointment before january. My school decided to defer my application to next semester which is this June/July and i got appointment for february 26 2024..
