What do you think as there was news that the EU demands that cash must remain as acceptable way of payment? After all Sweden is probably the most cashless society in the world. Is this EU-regulation going to cause problems?
Solsidan isn’t exactly a series about a typical Swedish family. It makes fun of a upper class neighborhood and their lives You could for example say that the very rightwing budget our government just put out is a “solsidan-budget”
Now I’m really home sick Daniel as your home town is only about a 55min car ride from my home town! Gorinchem ‘feels’ like a really wonderful place to have grown up in! You must have such emotional feelings being there remembering your childhood, teenage years etc! Seeing the cobblestones, architecture, house boats and feeling the gezelligheid of the community really is heartfelt & the 1607 water pump included! Such memories! You must miss being there more often…so great you’re only an hour and a half away! 😊👏 I’m 17 or more hours away🥲! Thank you so much for sharing your home visit Daniel😍👏😊

Great to see you back walking - again. The actress is Malin Cederbladh. I met her once long time ago when she was on an acting training studio in west Sweden and I worked as a journalist in the area. Such a gentle, warm and also ambitious and talented person. I liked her alot.
Back to say that was a wonderful walk!! I love Södermalm and I’m glad you’re feeling better, Daniel. Don’t worry about making us promises, that’s how you’ll end up with burnout. Just do what you can do and we’ll enjoy every bit of it. 🖤
Again u walk on the places i grow up went to schools and played and roamed around as a kid on foot and on bicycles. The stores and restaurants changes and streets to but i recognize almost every building and landmark. A mixed income place back then and extremely safe and good to grow up in with parks and different activities for kids. Did get my first buscard when i was 9-10 yr ..on a shoestring around my neck with the apartment key. Different times back in the late 1970 and 1980 ties =)
Södermalm is my favorite place in Stockholm. I have to explore it again when I come back next summer. Thanks for the ideas, Daniel! Nice walk, as always!
Regarding strong or fast - fun fact is that explosive strength training makes you faster😉 Look at the sprinters. It's quite obvious that they spend a lot of time in the gym.
