I have been natural for 20 plus years. I straightened my hair over the winter. Now I am trying to go back to my curly hair. I noticed the hair is not reverting. I refuse to cut my hair, I refuse. I will try this. Thanks.
This is hands down THE BEST video I have watched. I’m new to the makeup world and have never heard it explained this way. I will see if you referenced the items used. Sephora and Ulta was overwhelming, there are so many options.
I used an Aztec clay mask and I also used the curl smith . Because I broke the bond from using to much heat Edit: also I used the L’Oréal ever pure bond conditioner in the rose pink bottle I saw amazing results with that as well
Same I went to a Dominican hair salon 3 months ago got a silk press and now i have severe heat damage. I have always been natural with curly hair now my hair is super straight in some places
@@joemama6839 I'm just going to do the grow and trim method until all the damage is gone. I couldn't do the Big Chop.😔 and do hot oil treatments as well
What a coincidence, I’m on vacation in the Dominican Republic right now. Thanks for the heads up but I really hope that your hair reverts to how it was before ❤️
I got a treatment done on my hair is September to loosen up my curls and it was supposed to ware off in a few months but it’s now march and my hair is dry and brittle and still very straight. I’ve tried do many things to get my curls back so I’m just wondering if this works on chemical damaged hair?
mine got damaged from going to a Dominican hair salon which was lowkey my fault cause as soon as I went there I saw no one there but girls with pin straight hair but at the same time I'm 15 and my mom already made the appointment but they fry the heck out of my hair like I was in absolute shock when after my hair was done I saw what the heat was it was past 450 degrees and I knew I fucked up after that
I went natural 1 year ago. Did my big chop too. Went to the salon for my birthday washed it one week after and I noticed that had a ton of heat damage😭😭😭😭. I'm so mad at myself
Does it have to be the whole head you put this product in ? I literally have heat damage in one spot (middle part) from my leave out from sew ins etc …
Sun skin burns and damage is completely different then what we were using this product for. This is a chemical and it might be harmful to sunburns. We suggest consulting a dermatologist or maybe the employees at Sephora can give you better insight on what’s appropriate for sunburns. They carry the product at Sephora, so they would know more then us about that. Hope this helps :)
Heat damage won’t revert back to your natural curl pattern. Your curl pattern at your roots is new growth, therefore it’s your real curl pattern. Compare your strands to that. Hope this helps and thank you for watching 💕
The price varies depending on the bottle size, your location and tax. Google the product to get an accurate price for where you are. Thank you for watching 💕
Do you have heat damage if your roots are curly, the ends are curly as well but the middle is straight? Because for a party I did a bun and curled the two front pieces, but now they’re not reverting back to its original pattern. This is the first time I’ve straightened my natural since my big chop a year ago and I only did a couple passes. The ends curl a bit, the roots are fine bu the middle won’t budge 😭
Hey! Thanks for watching! it sounds like you might have some heat damage. Sometimes different areas of your head can be more sensitive to heat then others (the front of my hair is super sensitive to heat too) We would suggest that you try a more natural protein treatments first, like a DIY hair mask protein treatment with olive oil, a avocado, eggs etc (you can search different recipes on RU-vid). Your heat damage doesn’t sound severe, so I would try something more gentle first to see if that helps before you start putting a harsh chemical filled protein treatment in. ❤️ let us know how it goes!
I straightened my hair for the first time in 7 years and I got heat damage, my hair was past bra strap length and now it’s just at the nape of my neck. I’m keeping it in twists until it grows back but I’m really really sad about this 😔 Edit: made this post 5 months ago, happy to say my hair it growing back stronger and fully 😄
I know it’s been along but i started straightening at 5 :( and I had naturally curly hair it was thin though I’m 12 now and im getting my alopecia treated whenever it goes away do u think I could get it back or get the big chop
Hey! Thanks for stopping by! We’re no experts, but anything is truly possible :) considering that your natural hair pattern is curly, I would think that it would also grow back curly again after your treatment. It’s a great question though, and probably one you should bring up to your doctor.
If it’s curly at the top then your roots are growing in and your curl pattern is still curly 👌🏽 it’s looking good for you! But you should definitely consult a professional in regards to your alopecia. Hope all goes well for you 💕 and thanks for watching!
Poreprofessional is definitely better, but definitely not the poreprofessional gel.. I have reallly oily skin and I love the poreprofessional more (the one you used in your photo, not the gel one you used in your video)
We are SO happy to have you guys as members!😍 Its so great to hear that our service is able to help you, especially with analytics!! You're exactly right, more platforms = more eyes! 🙌🏻😊🥳
I like how ppl say they're never goin to the salon again.. stylist damage their hair.. but they asked for the damage. But I get it.. maybe they feel the stylist should've informed them of the damages that a process will cause. Got it
Thank you so much for the kind, endearing shout out. You guys are doing it big. The time and effort put into each piece, thought and care to your curated closet; it is priceless. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me (us)! Inspired! Yes, we BIPOC can be successful too! Poshmark: @boldengrace
This gurl I went to have my hair braided wash my hair with relaxer chemicals and it got damaged so I’ve been trying to revive for 3 months now I hope this works😩❤️
Welcome to the world of List Perfectly! My List Perfectly catalog is my "Seller Hub". It helps me organize my business for inventory management, analytics, crossposting to other platforms if you'd like (Up to ELEVEN!).
Thanks for sharing! Question: bc currently on PM are you using this solely for analytics or you thinking to expand to other platforms? I’ve heard about vendor too wonder which is better? I’d love to see all the things. lol. I’d like to hear more about weight loss, maintaining it, skin care, and more. Specially I’d like to hear more about your Posh business. There very little representation in this business of woman of color. This makes me feel less alone and that it is possible 💜🖤🤎 (Poshmark Closet: @AmericaGrey)
Thank you Candace! Right now it’s most useful to us for the analytics, because they give more information then Posh does, but we plan on branching out and cross listing on other platforms in the future. We have personally never tried Vendoo so we aren’t sure. There are videos here on RU-vid where people compare the two, but we currently love all that List Perfectly offers :)
I’m sorry :(((( sometimes the damage is too much to reverse. There’s nothing wrong with starting over with a BC. Having a fresh new start with all natural curls is much easier then dealing with multiple textures while transitioning anyways. Thank you so much for watching, if you’d like to see any other hair related videos/ advice, let us know and we’d be glad to make one :)) we wish you all the best in your hair journey 💕
Thank you for sharing. Very helpful and easy for me to implement some things. Like it doesn’t have to be perfect just write it down. Duh! 😂 (Poshmark closet: @AmericaGrey)
