What is that side deck card called that he has next to phantazmay?? It’ looks like a level 8 dark monster but I couldn’t get the full name of it ??? Please help 😅
Imo lab is either full trap heavy or more furniture heavy, but having lots of traps + furnitures + hand traps even seems like it would be really suboptimal
It's the standard furniture build and the most successful for over a year now lol check out Dinh Kha Bui's 2023 version that more or less kicked that version off (Triple Arias, Backjack and Trap Trick)
btw daruma cannon cannot send the tenpai monsters to the grave while sangen summoning is on the field... its illegal daruma says as follows: Change as many monsters on the field as possible to face-down Defense Position, THEN, if either player controls a face-up monster(s), they must send all face-up monsters they control to the GY. The "THEN" emplies that in order to resolve the second effect, the first effect must happen. If the tenpai dragons are UNNAFECTED by sangen summoning, they cannot be flipped face-down, THEREFORE no monster can be flipped down and the second effect of daruma can never resolve
@@BaumgratzE EXACTLY, forgot to mention this one. Your monsters also count for the first effect. It unfortunately doesnt work if you only have link monsters as they cant be set face-down
@@pablepablo2321 on YCS Rio and on the Greek Open there were at least 2 times where someone cheated Tenpai players this way. Even the judges didn’t catch it, so no it’s not that simple xd
I'm annoyed that duelchronicles stopped covering ycs results. does anybody know where I can see a list/breakdown of the decks that topped the ycs? I don't wanna look through 20+ youtube videos and piece it together
I'm curious as to why you said the Tenpai matchup is unwinnable without Feather Storm. From my experience it's the exact opposite, I believe it's extremely favored for Floo. Normal Summon Paidra, which is the most common starting play, triggers your Map, and Empen prevents everything else from activating, especially when the second most common starting play is Sangen Kaimen. The consequence is that they have to summon everything in defense mode, which defeats the purpose of their deck. If they summon Paidra + Chundra in MP1 to threaten Black Rose, you just book both monsters with Dreaming Town. The only scary combination in that matchup for the Floo player is Sangen Summoning AND Paidra AND Sangen Kaimen. You can typically Mega Raiza it away as soon as they play Sangen Summoning, and then statistically speaking, they'll most likely have to play into Map.
If they have the sangen field you can't dreaming town, raiza or book them, also they can only syncro summon lvl 10 and attack empen(empen can't activate his eff to halve atk). Also there is always the threathing of duster and lightning storm to wipe the field and otk easily, since floo don't play handtraps.
The match vs tenpai is not bad in itself because of tenpai, but rather because of the space it has for boarbreakers or handtraps in many quantities. Which costs floo.
