They can't tell you to leave names out of it. You have a constitutionally protected right to redress. You can go up there and say everyone's names and even call them names and no one can legally stop you. Not one person can stop you from stating every ugly detail of what you have uncovered. Don't let them protect each other and never let them silence you! Also, always reclaim your time. Great job, Sir!
A chair can declare you to be out of order if you besmirch the reputation of an individual. However this does not fall under that category so the presenter was absolutely in his rights to report this public factual information.
Greenwood school districts always do shady stuff and they wonder why the kids don’t comply with them and some of their teachings. Like I know last year they had about 44 million dollars to spend. Where did that go?
Did anyone consider - since the basis of the SD’s stance was that all was moot due to their being a deseg order - the fact that there were currently within the family siblings being served by a nonresident SD despite the deseg order. To this fact - question why the SD now chooses to “opt-out” when in previous years students were allowed because the opted-in despite the deseg order. So at least for this family the SD sit a precedent that the deseg order ran 2nd to the school choice law. Furthermore, even if the response is that the decision to opt-in was made by a different SD leadership (or in negligence), why then has the current leadership not decided to seek to revoke the approvals of ALL approved school choice applications - under the belief that the deseg order was priority and made them void.
