Genuine question is anything going to come out of this? I think this is a fantastic concept just waiting to happen, and would love to see more of this!
OMG I NEED THE END OF THE SONG 😢❤ WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STORY PAIR WITH AN … AMAZING IS NOT THE RIGHT WORD BUT A/AN [INSERT ALL THE ADJECTIVES HERE] PIECE OF MUSIC. Brilliantly done 🤯👏
I have not made a dnd character where this has happened. The closest would be axious, but as a kelemvorite, he accepted his death for the good of his friends, and was brought back by them through reincarnation. The other characters lost the loved ones and they never came back. Now I got to make a character designed to somehow mimic this.
I loved how he looked like a demon at the very end man! gave off skinwalker vibes and wendigo vibes from Antlers [:< I SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS MAN!! It so good
SPOILER for those who didn’t watch the musical: I just watched the musical on RU-vid and I am upset that Richie here isn’t the MC or does he get to live. But atleast he lives on as this great animatic.
This was my first time seeing anything from this musical, and i just had to check it out! Just saw it, and im sorry, but it's so cool in a really stupid way! So camp and i love it! Seriously, new favorite musical play!
It's from a musical called "nerdy prudes must die"! I just saw it because of this short and it's really good! It's on RU-vid! It's kinda adulty, but not too bad! I really liked it tho!

I find it extremely ironic that he says in the beginning that he won’t rest until he’s tried Graces ‘peach’ and then later fully dies after they have sex lmfao
The way Max BELTS this part of the song out just feels so incredibly raw and emotional. It feels like Max's last gasp of true humanity, realizing just what a truly horrible situation he's in and that it's something he can never escape from, before he fully devolves into the demon-like monster he's become. Infuriated that one of those responsible for him being stuck like this, would ever DARE stand up to him, even now.
If you watch closely you can see for a split second that he seems sad indicating he does not want to kill them and is being forced to despite the fact that they were involved in his death because in the play it mentions how he is not human anymore indicating that a higher power is turning him into a monster which is why in the end they had to get the help of an even higher power. We can see confirmation of this as his face has started to change shape and his eyes turned white as well as the fact that he is much taller now then before he had died.
What made this villain so terrifying was that there was no way to beat him. No enemy that could square up with him mid-play, no power of love or friendship motions. He was an unbeatable killing machine that only lost because Beings higher up the cosmic food chain were paid to drag him to Hell.
As a grown up "Weird Kid" from High School, I had my own share of bullies. Never liked them. But I find Max fascinating. It starts with Richie's blunder. Declaring himself "Not a loser" to the guy he inadvertently killed and help defile, was the absolute Wrong Thing To Do. Don't get me wrong, I get Richie's direction... but my sympathies are more with Max here. Max is the one projecting, horribly, obviously, and contradicting himself the entire time he's singing this. (Says he doesn't care and yet, he focuses on the fact that he . Tries to scare Richie into singing a swansong, and instead, projects the fact that Max himself is stuck in a horrible fate) Max is the one who died, only to wake up in one of the absolute worst states imaginable--in fact, a state that's not even that comprehensible. And this jackwagon Nerd declaring that he's not a loser, like its a high school musical sideshow, to the living corpse of the kid he manslaughtered and damned into eldritch curse--like dude, that's admittance of feeling accomplished in killing someone for a Minor Confidence boost that's not even going to last the next life challenge. Probably won't even last next lunch period. And subjected someone to a fate that will last eternity if not worse. I'd be pissed too. I would absolutely ruin my own musical number and go "Listen here you little--" And Max is a Kid. Won't one think that the 2 weeks he spent gone was prolly him trying to return to his parents? Maybe he actually had a friend or two somewhere, albeit it rough given his shit head nature. But imagine those two weeks... Karma only works if you learn something from it, and all Max got was a Horrible Fate. That's not karma.
But I will note, that as a fictional character written with an intention to show, and as the object being played with in the play... Max serves as the perfect example of the Narcissist. Just self aware enough to think that there's nuance. But every time we see that nuance, everytime we see the possibility of connection, it gets immediately yanked away by Max's own actions, because he's a self-important asshole, where the moment its not about him, he loses his mind and seeks to destroy everything.
